I don't know what to do about this flight situation. Frontier changed it, am I supopsed to go in and pick new seats? also, the time is significantly different.

Well I'm enjoying a day off today (ok other than the shoe incident at the dentist this morning). I just finished making mini broccoli cheese quiches and I'm watching Supernatural Season 2.

Darrell on the other hand is not enjoying his day off. He's at the garage. What started as a 100,000 mile routine maintenance has turned into replacing the bearing and hubs on both front tires too. :scared1: We thought the noise we were hearing was the muffler being loose but nope we were wrong. So it looks like he will be there the rest of the afternoon as they have to get the parts from the main dealer. Luckily I talked him into taking my iPod so he is catching up on Lost and Jericho. :cool1:

I'm with you - I'll start my packing list soon. And probably about 2 weeks before we leave I'll actually start to pack (I actually keep a list for what is in each suitcase as I pack it too). :thumbsup2

I am so boring...no shopping, no packing, no checklist. I will wear whatever I have here and pack one day ahead of time. That gives me a day to throw in things that I had forgotten to pack. I don't stress too much about packing. Of course I don't have kids to pack for so that makes it a lot easier. And I make DH pack his own. We have never forgotten anything important and I figure if we do forget something we can always purchase what we need.:goodvibes

When I saw the price had lowered in addition to the times changing I called them and found out I could cancel and re-book to get the lowere fare since they changed the times. Check to see if your price changed at all before picking new seats or anything.

well it was down to $115 and I called and the lady basically could not help me...and now it's $190, which is more than I paid.

hey I got a vacuum once for my bday! I think it is a great gift! Then again thats coming from odd me. :lmao: What kind are you getting?

I don't know yet. I have had 3 different vaccums. I have broken them all and none of them had great suction. So my mom is going to Rhyne's vaccums to get a real vaccum I think. Ours we have right now has 6 parts to clean and I hate that. It got good reviews but I hate it and it doesn't pick things up. It also stops on its own and a red light blinks cause its always clogged. Well the other day I was cleaning and got mad at it and accidently broke it. It still works but the plastic part holding the canister on broke off. I hate vaccums:rotfl: .

I have owned a lot of them myself and while I did love my crazy expensive Kirby I had before I think I like my latest one best. It is a Dyson. It is a bit lighter then the Kirby still heavier then some of the ultra lights out there of course. It is easy to use has few parts and dumping the canister is super easy. It has a trigger so I take the canister off with one hand walk to the trash and pull the trigger which makes the trap swing open dumping everything into the trash. That is cool cince I do not have to touch the mess falling out. I use it everyday and I still like it after a year.

Well I can't believe that no one in this group has booked their shuttle from the port in LA as of yet.

So what time did everyone else book it for?

Marilyn and I are both requesting some assistance, please. Pretty please with smarties on top.... ;)

I have hired a car to take us to our car rental at the airport. I didn't have to say a specific time. They told me to call the morning of and schedule a time. But I'm usually off the boat about 9-9:30am so you have to figure that 10-10:30am would be a good time to schedule a pick up. You have to think that we'll all be talking a lot and hugging a lot before taking off.

One of my goals is to go into the pool this trip.....never made it yet.....

Same here.

Woody

Hey Woody - believe it or not - it wasn't until this last cruise - (Aug) that I was forced to go to the adult pool. I actually liked it. My goal this time is to get DH to go. DH didn't go on the repo with me - I took a friend and she is a regular beach bunny - me? I could care less, I don't miss the sand in the shorts and the red skin. Crazy coming from a born and bred CA girl huh?

I've never gone to the adult pool (in 3 cruises). I'm definitely going to make it this time! More sea days mean more opportunities for lounging. I intend to lounge, but I seem to end up doing things.;)

During the TA cruise, I did make it on one of the sea days into the quiet cove pool with the boys for a few minutes. They got more out of it than I did. The jacuzzi, on the other hand, was very nice. Does that count as one of the "pools?":rotfl:

Isn't Quiet Cove adults only? Or do they not really enforce that?

When we got off in May 2005, we took our time. However, our friends were some of the first to get off, but they had to wait and wait for luggage! We didn't enter the port until like 6 a.m. in the morning if I remember right.

We got off around 10:15 a.m. and they were still waiting for their luggage to show up! We got out of the terminal, through customs and waited in line for a taxi to the LAX airport and left the terminal around 10:45 a.m. Got to the LAX airport about 11:20 since it was a Saturday morning and traffic moved smoothly.

Don't know if we will port in the middle of the night this time or if they will wait to bring her in until morning after daylight, that will make a difference as to when luggage gets off the ship
