Thanks.

I think I just may pay to have it done. It would beat any goofiness of trying to get up early enough / stay up late enough / hanging out in the laundry room drinking vodka and eating cookies.

If I think about how much my vacation time is worth, and because there are only two of us. It's worth it.

I'm planning on packing about 1 week to 8 days worth of clothing, so paying for laundry to be done once during the trip is not too too terrible.

Probably not bad if I calculate out how much a vacation hour is worth.

See I have brought greater meaning to your life once again  , :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I sent off my email and a letter to the refund department. Along with copy of the contract that states the change fee is for reissue due to date, flight cancellation..none of which I am doing. We'll see what happens...I know I won't be flying US Airways again after this. I still paid less at the time for exactly what I wanted compared to other airlines. I am holding on to this..and as surf said earlier...if I hadn't booked this flight, I probably would be paying more now. Murphys Law and all...

When I was in the corporate world I travelled a lot for work and my collegues and I called US Air, Useless Air. We always had the worst customer service dealing with them. Good luck with your letter!! If the contract doesn't state price adjustments as an exclusion you should get a refund, it will be interesting to see how they weasel their way out of it!

Well, I'm back from another installment of exercise induced pain. Actually boot camp was a lot of fun today, we worked on legs...lots of lunges, etc. Tomorrow should be interesting as I'm anticipating I will be sore. I did feel like getting sick again but over time this will pass. I'm just glad I've found something that I actually enjoy doing. I've always exercised in some way or another (however not so much in the past year or so) but I've never really LIKED exercising, so that fact that I'm not looking for excuses to NOT go, it a good thing!

Southwest is the only Airline still doing this without charging a fee. Jetblue now charges $40 per ticket/person, they were the other no fee until this winter.

My friend who was booked on this cruise and had to cancel because the kids other parent refused to let them go I know he was able to persuade the airlines into giving him his money back. He was flying United I think.

Just DON'T wake ME up!!! :goodvibes

I think I'm going to not deal w/ that hassle and spend a bit of my obc and get the laundry service....I don't want to waste any time in the laundry room.

That's our plan too. :thumbsup2

Wow I didn't know that when I booked. I just know that my tickets were $109 per person for Sacramento to Orlando and that is a much better price then what I paid last time on United. I think last time I paid $259 per person. :scared1:

I posted a while back about our Cafepress order but didn't see any responses.

Can I just ask - if you've ordered anything from Cafepress, was the spelling correct on the logo? I thought I'd seen that it had been corrected (as shown on the Ship of Thieves website), but ours wasn't. If we're all wearing badly spelled t-shirts, then fine. But I want to check in case it's an error by Cafepress.

How much is laundry service? I mean, depending on the cost, I might just have it done.

I have a laundry slip at home that I purposely brought off the Wonder from last month. I'll get it tonight and post if no one gets to it before me.

Thanks.

The other thing I learned from Tony (aphoenix), DO NOT send your stuff out at home before leaving to have dry cleaned! Just take to the ship dirty and all wrinkled and then send out for dry cleaning. Then you don't have to worry about having your brand new dry cleaned clothes all wrinkled from hauling across the country in your luggage! I've done that ever since 2005 when Tony told us that and it is worth it! (and besides, the price compares to the dry cleaners I use here at home).

I ordered the mouse pad and two shirts - they all had Thieves mispelled.

Actually, you will be part of the group that first ordered, they have the "orginal shirts" it is a special status, or so they have told us, :). I will do mine as a custom order since I want a big big girl shirt, and will pull a graphic from the website.

Hopefully someone who has ordered in the last couple of months will have an answer on what happened with their order.

When I have done a lot of work on legs and butt then I can have bit problems the next day - particularly with the getting on and off the loo!!!
