Angie, it sounds like you're having a great time! I love to have time at DL to just walk around. Glad you got to ride the Lillie Belle. Have you ever ridden in the wheel house of the Mark Twain or behind the engineers on one of the trains? Those two things are on my "bucket list".

We have not. Do you just ask like you do for Lillie Bele?

It was too cold for Ballroom Under the Stars outside, so it was moved to Rockin' Bar D but DCL didn't publicize that. We were one of only three couples there, along with Nikki the dance instructor. We had a good time, but we were disappointed that there weren't more people. I think DCL really dropped the ball on that one. Brent didn't mention the ballroom dancing at all at the early Disney Dreams show. There were also a couple of really cute kids who came by all dressed up & ready to dance (I think I saw Holly and Tyler peek in), but cast members made them leave because it was after 9:00 pm. That was too bad because they would have been able to participate if the venue hadn't changed.

I wish they would have announced the move. I am really surprised Brent did not mention it.

I hope all everyones children grow up (including my little ones) to be as great a kid as Daniel. You know I love to brag on him....he is not an exceptional student or an exceptional athlete (but a good bowler!!)...but he is just the nicest person you will ever meet. I am so proud to call him my son!!!

He's a terrific guy. We enjoyed meeting him.

Sorry, I fell asleep on the couch last night. I'm still unemployed, but...I know as soon as things pick up for them again, they will call me, so it's fine. This is a tough time for companies and individuals alike but it will settle down again at some point.

I wanted to let you all know that Sukie will be on Public Television on June 3rd. He is appearing in a documentary about Chicago gay history.

Not sure how many of you are aware of it, but in addition to writing two weekly newspaper columns, he is also a historian and is working on a history book. He is somewhat known in Chicago as a history expert in this topic and has spent hundreds of hours doing research.

He appears as a "talking head" in the documentary.

Not sure if it will be airing anywhere else other than Chicago, though it might at a future date.

The name of the program is "Out & Proud in Chicago."

This is sort of a big deal for us. The interviews were shot at our house, and I remember coming home from work several times to find documentary crew packing up and leaving our place.

Sort of exciting. You get to see our built-in bookshelves.

That is very cool.

Oh no, mine talk back. It is fun to look back but, while I was doing it, I did realize that they were memories and that I didn't want another little one.

I am getting sick...sounds just like Nan has...and I nver get sick. I feel pretty miserable. But I am doing laundry (I have somneone that comes in once a week to help with laundry...but she does not put anything away)...so I have about 3 weeks worht to put away.....and all I want to do is go to sleep.

Wow...that sounds very exciting. Have you ever read the book Not Like Other Boys.? Chris was a good friend of my mom's when I was younger...although I don't think that they have really spoken since she moved out west over 10 years ago.

I actually did all the laundry the day we got home (well on Monday) and my cleaning lady came on Wednesday, so I am in pretty good shape!

I am sorry you are sick too.....I am thinking maybe I got this on the airplane and not on the ship...since I did not start feeling bad till yesterday.

I hope you get better fast. I bought Zertyc yesterday (I love that and it is now over the counter) and this morning I went and bought Mucinex (sp?) to try and break up all the junk in my chest. I can't get even more sick....
