We are at Long Beach Airport. I have never been in an airport so small! We were able to get a red eye back to Dulles direct. We get home at 5am! I will be so glad to get home! I miss everybody, but I also miss my pillow!

Home safe and sound!

Cheri and I hit Phoenix around 830 last night (had a traffic delay on the I10 just west of town). We stopped at Peg's for a short visit then Cheri headed on to her sister's for the night. We'll drop off the rental car this morning and go to breakfast before Cheri heads on up north.

Debarkation was a bit of a nightmare, wasn't it? I didn't hit the ENTRANCE to the terminal building till 1035AM...about an hour of standing in line just getting off the ship. So our visit to DTD was cut short. We just did lunch at Goofy's and then headed on out.

Thanks everyone for making this such a special vacation. I had a great time meeting everyone, exchanging fish extender treats, doing the meets and excursions, blowing off excursions to spend the day on a lounge outside Cove Cafe, the shows, the crew and officers, did anyone else fall in love with Daniel? Oh, la la!

Must race to the shower to be ready when Cheri calls....think she'll be up by 9AM? :lmao:

Not enough passport agents for the number of passengers.

Well I'm not sure I trust you since you ate off the kids menu every night!

Hey - I did order entrees off the adult menu 2 times (and not just the lighter fare section I normally ate from).

Almost all my appetizers/soups came from the kids menu. By the end of the end of the cruise I had Darrell ordering his soups from that menu and Deb even got dessert off it the last night!

I will be so glad to get home! I miss everybody, but I also miss my pillow!

That is why I always travel with my pillow! I did not last year to Europe and regretted it badly - so this time even with the lower luggage allowance it came with me - space bags can be your friend :)

We got home last night, about 9:30 our time (central). We had a crazy plane ride home. We were on a hold pattern going into Minneapolis, then when they finally gave us the go ahead to land the wind sheer was terrible. Majorly bad turbulence. We were at about 1000 feet when the pilot suddenly pulled up and aborted the landing. He said the wind was just too bad. We circled the airport and came in from another direction. We were finally able to land, but it was still a pretty wild ride. Everyone applauded when we landed. One little boy behind us got sick. Poor thing.

Then we still had another flight to get to Des Moines. That one was uneventful.

Kitties are glad to see us. Suitcases are still all stacked in the kitchen ready for laundry day today. I don't feel like doing anything! And is my house always this dirty?! Definitely not up to Disney standards.

Anyone doing the Wonder on March 15????

Hi Krisann! We had so much fun talking to you at Palo brunch. I missed chatting with most of you, but it was so nice just to see friendly faces & say Hi around the ship.

I know, some people from our table did as well. I just had to give you a hard time! I didn't eat enough dessert, I guess we need to go back :goodvibes

Morning all, Still feel like death warmed over and Jonathan slept on the couch all day and all night (I'm sinus, he is flu - stomach and all over body aches) Zoe is fine! My yard looks like everything grew and the flowers are all dead (a good trim will bring them all back.) Trying to take it easy today so I can stand up straight and talk for 4 hours on Wednesday. My head is spinning and I keep feeling like I'm swaying on the ship. I sure couldn't have made it to DL yesterday (or today) like so many others did. I've got about 400 hours of tivo to catch up on, so that's my plan today with a bare minimum of work around here.

Oh, Kelly, how disappointing to lose a bag after all that. I sure hope it turns up! I didn't know you were sick, too! I'm flat on my back in bed today. I slept for about 3 hours. My voice is starting to come back, but I have a cough that just won't quit and a headache that feels like the top of my head is going to blow off. I'm just so thankful we didn't have to get on a plane and fly anywhere today. I was kind of okay until I got home, though. Kind of like when you're a little kid and fall down and hurt yourself and you hold it together until you see mom, then you lose it! David really wanted me to go to the Dr. too, but I figured they wouldn't be able to do anything more than several hours of good sleep will accomplish!
Hope you feel better soon!

Me too - glad I didn't have to fly, my ears wouldn't have made it.

We're home too. Got to our friend's house about 1:45 and to our home (with a quick stop thru the Wendy's drive-thru) about 2:30. I'm now on the 3rd load of laundry - will probably be doing laundry all week - picture 15 days worth of clothing for 2 and apartment size stackable washer and dryer...Thanks to all for making this a trip of a lifetime for us!! My only wish was that I got to meet and spend time with everyone!!
Does anyone else feel lost without a schedule showing them what to do and when?

Oh man, I was just thinking I actually have to make the schedule again!. Fortunately, I made a When We Return list and posted it on my wall, so I'd remember everything to do when I got back.

Hello everyone, we are home. We have been for hours now but I had to get some sleep. My stomach hasn't been feeling well all day. I can't believe it was 15 days and it wasn't long enough. I didn't even meet some people and I didn't spend as much time as I thought with others. I can't wait to see pictures and post the ones we have. I'm sure most of ours will be of the same people over and over again! It was strange how you would bump into the same people and then never see others at all. Jon had the camera the entire time so I'm sure there is none of him! If anyone has any, let me know. This was a memorable exerience for me and I'm happy that you were all part of it.

There were many people I didn't get to meet or visit with for more than 5 min. We mostly end up seeing all the people who are on our dinner rotation time because we are all doing the same type of schedule.

We love that airport, it's so small and easy to handle.

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: Hello :) Yes brunch was great and we loved talking with you too. I wish more had showed up for our brunch as I would have liked to have gotten to know everyone a little more too BUT we had a blast with just the 6 of us :) I really enjoyed my time. :woohoo:

Update on pool - we do not have finished walls BUT we do have it ready for concrete to be poured for footers all around which will then lead to the walls. But the pool people are already backed up anyway so they could not get to us on Tuesday if the walls were finished :( So in the morning we should know more :) If it stops raining :(

Kelly, hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry I missed Brunch on the 23rd - we left a message for Palo's the day before and had thought they'd pass the message along. We found it hard to get all the kids involved in activities at the same time, and didn't want to force it on them on the second to last day. We were really bummed to miss it.

Can someone please call room service and get me the cheese platter and some coffee? I keep pushing zero on my phone and get nothing. :confused3

Back in DC. Flight out of Long Beach and it was perfect!!! We arrived at Dulles at 5am EDT and we have been sleeping at home since. It is noon time here now.

Don is on the way from the beach.....last night it was him and 13 teenage girls watching 27 Dresses together!! (my 3 nieces came over with his 6 and then some neighborhood girls watched the movie with him). He said it was the "ultimate in fatherhood:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: "

Time to unpack and grocery shop.

Hope everyone is well and feeling better.

I only have one question.....how can you go on a 15 day vacation and be so tired at the end?????

I can hardly believe it is over!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: We got home yesterday around 5pm. Scott and I crashed on the couch for an hour or so while the girls watched some TV. Taylor spent most of the day crying....she just was so sad that the cruise was over! Then of course at bedtime she got Jaide crying as well....missing their new friends and all the fun they had on board. So then I started in too......what a scene we were:lmao:

It was great to meet everyone....for those I didn't get to meet or spend time with...where did the time go?! Did anyone else notice you pretty much saw the same group over and over again and missed lots of others?

We had a wonderful trip and it is hard to be back in the real world...just had to search the house for some food to cook for the girls for breakfast....where oh where is that buffet when I need it?!

Hope everyone is feeling better and resting today (except the group still on vacation at DL!) I didn't touch the suitcases last night, so that is my goal today....unpacked and laundry done!
