John weighed my clothes suitcase last night and it was 57 lbs. I called Allegiant Air and they said it'll cost me $50 for those 7 lbs. Oh well. I'm not leaving anything behind. I packed very carefully and I need everything that I brought.....no doing laundry.....maybe having DCL do just a small load for me.....that's it!

Me too!!! We have dinner with DD Sandi and family on Thursday night because we're doing Fishlips with friends on Friday night. I'm looking more forward to Friday than Thursday. It'll be a lot more fun and way less stressful. Big Hugs to you soon Gydell!!!!

Exactly! I got such a good price on the tickets, so I really don't mind adding $50. As long as I get to take everything that I want. I mean, we'll try to skycab it at the door, but I'm going out of Allentown airport. Not too big and not much going on. It may be hard to get by without weighing them. I don't care. Weigh them and charge me! I'm not unpacking anything.

That's a bit too much.....I'm not going overboard......I don't have extra bags and I only have one that weights 57 lbs. and the airline already said it would just cost me $50......If I had to pay $900+ I would totally reconsider.

They were gone for about 5-6 weeks and the flight from B to P only let you have 1 bag per person at 40 lbs which their TA didn't tell them about. I think that's what happened. They had no charges on any of the other flights!

I haven't decided if I am going to be there EARLY and try for an upgrade or not. We'll be there by 10:30 for sure!

We'll probably get there between 9-10am. That should be about right. If we leave the hotel at 9am and then drop off the car rental and cab it back to the port.....we'll get there before 10am.

A lot of ours depends on what time Brent gets up. With 4 of us and luggage we will have to take 2 cabs anyway.

A $1k unexpected expense.....I would say that will put a damper on your vacation. I would never use that TA again.

Do you know the name of the local cab company that you are going to use to get to the port?

I had one a long time ago.....Shirley had recommended them on her info page. I'll have to go try to find it again.
