John is renting a tux and taking a suit for semi formal and Palo's. He was wondering this week why he is taking a suit. I thought a tux might be too much for semi formal and Palo though. If we end up cancelling Palo dinner then I guess he needn't take his suit. What do you think?

A tuxedo is fine for semi-formal night.

LADIES

I got a dress! It is black and has an empire waist with a cross over top and small white dots spaced way out, it come to just below the knees. Look great from the front, the back is not going to be helped out from any clothes, lol.

I got two really light shawl sweaters, one white and one black will just switch those out for formal and semi.

gotta take Molly out shortly to search for something formal for her, just not sure about what she has. it's too warm I'm afraid. black velvet, but she won't wear the cuff and neck fur

ya, it was pretty scary, but I was grateful for the nice nurse at delivery, and much wiser with Wilson and I also now tell all my close friends that nurses shouldn't touch you to hurt. It was awful.

I've got all my jewelry in snack-size ziploc bags separated by outfit that they go with. Then all the little bags are in one giant ziploc bag along with DD's headbands and our water-proof watches. Pretty neurotic, huh?

I packed most of my suitcase. The formalwear took up half of the bag, but that was fine, because during the day I'll be in little tanks and shorts. Lucikily, there's still some room in there for undergarments. I will NOT be part of the commando crowd! Of course I haven't WEIGHED the bag, so I have to hope it's under 50 lbs!

She loves it, she is modest and likes to wear dresses like this. So we have been having a hard time with finding anything as the spring styles are too showy for her. But, she knows it might be too hot. So we keep looking.

I like the ziploc idea. Might have to head out today and pick some up. I might just steal that idea. Of course some of the essential electronic stuff will be in my camera bag as I don't want them to go missing if my luggage goes missing.

As for instruction manuals, the only one I am taking is the one for my new camera as there are still many features on there that I haven't tested yet.

All cables and charges travel with us in our carry on. I'm too paranoid about lost luggage. If the luggage goes missing, we might not have anything to wear, but we'll sure enough be able to charge our batteries!

that is my normal mode too, but I'm getting so lazy in my aged years, I'm thinking of just packing them and letting the worry go. Worst case, someone else takes pictures for me.

Oh, that's good to know that he won't be the only one on the ship. Never thought to ask Deborah if her DH and DS would be wearing "our" traditional formalwear -doh!
