I love the sound of the steel drums. I heard they use to have them on the ship. Maybe they will bring them back for us soon. To me steel drums makes it seem more Caribbean.

Haven't been on since last night around 2am EST...boy are you guys some dedicated typers.

In response...My wife and I are booked on Eastern Carribbean 7day first week of November 08!!!!

Something to look forward to after we get back from Repo

I don't get what people like about universal healthcare....the fact its free? My whole family are English citizens and my Grandma maintains yes, she could go back anytime and have her health taken care of, yes, Grandma, but at what cost?

It isn't free! National Insurance contributions are deducted from my salary to pay for healthcare, welfare benefits etc. I have no choice in the matter. And if I choose to take out private healthcare, I don't get any refund.

Right now we have one booked for Oct/ 10/ 2009/ St. Croix. Maybe changing that tho.

You guys are absolutely impossible to keep up with these days.

So just a drive by post to say my brother had a tracheotomy done yesterday to make him more comfortable with the vent. He is also now able to respond by shaking his head yes and no, but still a bit out of it due to the meds. It's going to take some time explaining everything that has happened to him in the last two weeks, but at least we have that opportunity now. He has really stabilized, so hopefully we can get him moving in the right direction before we leave him for two weeks.

That is great news that he has finally stabilized.

I LOVE steel drums. I was so upset when DCL took the steel drum band off the ship. It seemed to me like the atmoshphere went with them. It just wasn't the same. I have complained about this repeatedly to cruise directors. When I spoke to Brent on our last cruise he said that they will not be bringing them back anytime soon.

Just saw a post on survivior! I cannot believe that Ozzy is gone. I will miss him. He is most likely the all around best survivior ever!
