ARUBA.....our non DCL excursion got cancelled, so time to re-think that day's activities. Air-conditioned motorcoach, or open air jeep? OR the DCL version of snorkel? Decisions.....decisions....

Just got home. Had to fly to Vancouver yesterday and then back home this morning.

Took .... wait for it Bruce....


AIR CANADA.


Had no problems whatsoever. Flight to Vancouver was completely full, flight home had a few empty seats. Got the seats I wanted no problems. Had great customer service on both legs. Ticket agent in PG even printed out my boarding pass for the return flight from Vancouver so I wouldn't have to queue up at YVR!

The only snag was they changed my departure gate for the return trip - but I was smart enough to check the board as soon as I got into YVR so it wasn't a problem! In fact the gate they moved me to was MUCH less of a walk!

Oh yeah, and no nuts were given out on the flight home. We got Chocolate chip cookies instead. However, there was the warning on the package that they may contain trace amounts of peanuts and tree nut residues...

Otherwise it was a great flight. Except it was cold and rainy in Vancouver when I left and it was downright freezing up here when I got home!

Bruce, either I don't want to ever fly with you - or maybe you should fly with me and see if my luck rubs off!!

Let's discuss it after I get home from LA.....

that is if I get home...and if hey don't put me tp work in the galley

Didn't your daughter sleep through the whole thing? I remember someone's daughter sleeping through dinner. Lori (mom two 2 princesses) was also across us, next to you. Bubba/Venetia and Lisa/Darrell were at the end of the table. Boy, my memory's not too bad after all....

Karen and her two kids(cancelled) was down at the end with us too!!!

OK folks, here's the way this will work for tomorrow. We have more than double our original total of dissers. With this many people they want us to go with a limited prefix menu, one bill, deposits etc.

So, to avoid that I have made reservations for the following names and times. They would appreciate it if we could come early to help with their slammed dinner rush as we will take up the entire patio. I promised them that we would be very flexible and wouldn't mind eating at different times and possible dividing up. This was too big of a party for them on a Saturday night, but they want to accomodate us. Don't be suprised if we need to divide further and some of you may want to have the teens eat at their own table just inside the door. That's a parent choice, so just a suggestion. I've attempted to put like ages of children together - with any luck they'll make some new friends tomorrow.

Hopefully this has made this event easier. No matter where we all end up I'm sure we'll find a way to chat with each other because after all we found each other here didn't we? See you tomorrow.

OK, I tried unsuccessfully to google frangi. A little help for a non-Florida person please....what is it?

frangipani....or plumeria....what they make leis out of, we have them ALL over the yard along with orchids, birds of paradise and other tropical plants. they are gorgeous when they are in bloom.

I am trying to find pics, but can't = they are sooo pretty except in the winter. They loook like sticks. Problem is people steal them as it is and wreck the growth Johnny wants....and now, even after he hacked a great tree, they came and ruined it.
