No cops today so I guess everything is fine. Tomorrow our neighborhood has the annual garage sale. With over 3600 homes it is a huge sale!

I got of a glimpse of what happened....unbelievable glad all is well....have fun with the huge sale...those can be fun Its amazing what people sell you could find things brand new with tags still on them around here

OMG!

I am in charge of the garage sale for Hunter's Creek. We usually have about 250 homes sign up! Sure nothing like that!

The Hunter's Creek Women's Association collects $5 from each person who signs up, and we do the advertising, and I orgainize a list of all the homes addresses with what they have to sell organized by nieghborhood.

But 3600! AMAZING!!!!

With 250 homes that is still quite a job.

well I am out of the leadership retreat....it's so nice to actually sit in a room full of engaging people for a change! The retreat was mainly dealing with diversity both with co-workers and patients so the theme was It's A Small World (angie and dr hugs ride) and I am happy to say our table - that accountants, won the contest of geography...and we got 23 out of 25 right, and these were not easy places!

John - praying for Manuel, you brought tears with your post, but I am not sure why you are surprised by the stories about Manuel, he is, after all, your brother!

I wore mine on pirate night last yesr, but with all our fun activities planned, I might get a chance to wear them more often!

I actually gave some of them away to CM's and small children that liked them. So I came home with only 3! That's why I need to buy more!

This is when I was planning to wear mine. Maybe some other times too.

That is kind of wierd. Why get involved at all if you are not going to get involved? I will see anyone going to the meet tomorrow. I might be able to get on a little but I have to go to the school now and we have soccer tonight.

yes I think most of us thought so too - it was fun trying to guess who she was though - she was also the one who talked about wearing a thong bathing suit on board . . . . I see her name pop up on the boards from time to time and I have to go OH NO It made for some interesting discussions because she told us up front she was not going to "meet" any of us - I am sure she knew who we were by our lime green lanyards but we were in the dark about her - but she was one of those people with one kindergarten aged daughter and a husband on the ship - of course that really narrowed it down!! Oh well the mystry remains . . . .

I had a hell of an afternoon! My dd called at 3pm to said she was in carpool line to get dgs and her car would not start. So I left to go pick them up just to get there and someone had jumped her car off and they were just leaving. Not having any gas in my car I stopped by the gas station. I pulled up to 1 pump and it had tape over the credit card slot so I moved to another. Got out and did credit card and filled up. Then I left and went to my dd house. My dh calls me all upset because the police have called him and said that someone driving my car had not paid for the gas and was my car stolen. I left and went and paid to find out that the credit card reader had been acting up and had not read my card. I'm imagining being handcuffed and carried to jail! The manager was very nice and said he understood. This was at 4:30 and the manager has not called the police yet. I have had 2 more calls from the police. They said they would call the store. That's all I need is to have cops at my door at 3am and handcuffing me!
