Deborah, I emailed them as I wanted to pay but have it delivered to Monica. I then asked if I could order by email which was fine - they just put the relevant questions they needed in an email back to me and asked me to fill in and return the email. There was space for the delivery address. I could pay by paypal.

Okay, why delivered to Monica? because of the price of postage?

Is it better deliver to USA? Oh dear, maybe I have to email Monica for her address?

How long is it? Maybe I am too late to order it?

At risk of being flamed by any smokers ......

On our last cruise, I hated having to pass through the smokers to get into Cove Cafe.

This is good news for me. DH and I love sitting outside at Cove Cafe. The smoke always ruined it for us.

Just booked my trip insurance....got to have lost/delayed luggage coverage and medical...just makes me feel better and I earned $1.34 in Disney rewards. :)

Three weeks from today I'll be dropping Cheri at the airport and going in for my last day of work before vacation. :cool1:

Time to hit the shower and start another fun day in TV-Land.

Later Thieves pirate:

Hey kids, cruise business:

IF you are on one of the group BRUNCH lists and you had booked an on-line Palo DINNER, will you double check your reservations and make sure your DINNER is still there?

katypop and disneylover5 have both had their dinner reservation disappear. We don't know if this was the reason or if it has something to do with the change they made on the web site. What change your ask? When you now have 5 or more cabins linked for dining, each cabin has to be accessed with the different reservation numbers. In the old days, I could go on my reservation to book dining/excursions and all my tablemates would show up and I could book something and include them. Now that we are five cabins there is a red message that says each has to be done individually under the individual reservation numbers. It sitll shows MY dinner (I was the one who originally booked) but doesn't say for how many people or who those people are.

Kathe and Lisa are going to e-mail/call the Palo specialist tomrorrow to make sure she didn't delete their DINNER in error. Haven't heard from Cheri if her's is still listed or not...expect she'll be checking in later tonight.

ARRRRRGGGGGG!

ADDING this morning:

Any of you have 5 or more cabins linked for dining? Have you looked at your reservations/cruise plans lately? Apparently Cheri's dinner doesn't show up under her reservation now either. :confused3

.

My dinner still shows up.

THANKS Deb!

It will be nice to have the extra smoke free space at Cove Cafe (especially since I think LOTS of us will be there on this cruise), but I am glad to hear that they set up a similar seating area on the other side of the ship. I know the smoking folks enjoyed that space, it's very comfortable. Though won't the new space be right by the arcade?

...ok really getting ready for work now....

.

Yes, the ending is what ruined the movie for me. I do think I read the book many, many years ago, but too long ago for me to remember it.

But I watched "Juno" right after and it was so cute! Today I'll watch "I am Legend" after work. :thumbsup2

Make sure you have tissues on hand!!!

At risk of being flamed by any smokers ......

On our last cruise, I hated having to pass through the smokers to get into Cove Cafe.

Everytime I have to smell their smoke it reminds me of my Mother's death and how she suffered.

Important Change:
Onboard Smoking Policy
For the comfort and enjoyment of our Guests, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder have been primarily designated as non-smoking ships. However, it is recognized that some Guests smoke, therefore we have designated smoking areas which include many of the lounges, portions of open-air decks, and private verandahs.

Effective with the Disney Magic 4/19 and the Disney Wonder 4/20 sailings, an important change regarding these designated smoking areas is going into effect.

Smoking is no longer permitted on the port side of the ship, instead Guests are permitted to smoke on the starboard side, on decks 4, 9, & 10 (outside only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)
Smoking is no longer permitted outside Cove Cafe (as it is on the port side)
A comparable area with tables & chairs will be available to Guests opposite the location of Cove Cafe (starboard side)
Smoking is no longer permitted in ANY indoor venue, such as Cadillac Lounge, Diversions, etc.
Below is a recap of the onboard smoking policy:

Smoking Permitted

Decks 4, 9, & 10 starboard side (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)
Deck 9 midship - starboard side - An area with the same types of tables & chairs that can be found around Cove Cafe
Guest's private verandah (Cats 1-7)

Smoking NOT Permitted
All staterooms
Dining rooms, corridors, theatres, children's spaces, or ANY indoor venue (i.e., Cadillac Lounge, Sessions, Rockin' Bar D', Wavebands, etc.)

Outside Cove Cafe
Mickey's Pool
Decks 4, 9, and 10 port side of the ship (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)

So is smoking on verandahs allowed only on the starboard side? I ask as a non smoker with a starboard verandah!

I thought it would be safer and less postage going to Monica and us bringing it home in our hand baggage rather than being squashed in the mail! She will give it to us at the DTD meet so no worries about her getting it onboard.

Monica, you're a star.
You're a star Monica.

On our last cruise, I hated having to pass through the smokers to get into Cove Cafe.

On my last cruise (the one I did solo) - I spent alot of the day in Nassau outside of the Cove Cafe and there was someone there smoking a cigar (ugh).

Sorry, but I'm allergic to smoke

Everytime I have to smell their smoke it reminds me of my Mother's dealth and how she suffered.

My dad stopped smoking when I was little after watching his father suffer through lung cancer and die a painful death. It kills me to see my son smoking knowing what he is doing to his health. :sad2:

Mine was delivered to you in a little over a week Monica, so great service.

Ok I had a very bad day at work. I am available 2 days a week for a total of around 20 hours. Well next week is my last week of school and my manager scheduled me almost 40 hrs and 5 days without asking me. I told her I couldn't work that much and she said too bad you have to. I of coarse don't have to as that is not my availabilty. Well if I tell HR or her manager she will look for a way to get me HUGE trouble. Today she wouldn't look or talk to me.She wanted to write me up b/c I called in Monday. I haven't called in in months (I have worked her 7 years). Thanks goodness my best friend is also a manager and warned me.

I really want to get it fixed but she will punish me if I do. Our HR won't tell her but she will find out. She basically threatens us not to tell what she does to us. She tells us all the time she can fire us anytime she wants. Its getting really old so I am thinking on going over there either tomarrow or Fri and hope she doesn't see me talking to HR. Last time I talked to HR we all went as a group and she wrote the whole team up. Everyone quit but me and now all the new people are quitting too.

Thanks for letting me vent. I hope to talk to my best friend and her boyfriend (both managers) about what to do tomorrow.

:grouphug: Hope this works out for you. I worked for an evil woman once and completely understand your fear of going to HR

You would think I would have remembered to order mine when I saw yours, wouldn't you??? DUH!!! (but then again maybe it was meant to be incase I need to order Deborah's too :goodvibes )

Mary and Marilyn.....

I keep forgetting to let you know this too....

I think of you everytime I have a bite of the chocolates that you brought me.

Mary - I've been stingy w/ those bars and eating just a bit at a time (and NOT sharing) as I learned from the box that Marilyn brought me that they go too fast if you share :rotfl:

Update - update - update

I had a package waiting for me when I came home --- guess what - the cruise T-shirts - they are of such good quality, I am very pleased....

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
