I just had some time to check out the DCL site

and I thought I would check out if any staterooms were available

the mystery cat 4 on deck 8 and a cat 5 on deck 7....both ......drum roll please.....GTY

just had to find out for sure....

I am going to call DVC again today to see if they have my "upgrade" yeat!!!!!!

I watched the initial pilot but as I am a fan of the OS (have that series on DVD), I couldn't get into it. It just kept feeling wrong.

I always thought it would have been nice to pick up where the OS left off and go from there. I think it would have garnered even more fans.

Thats what I thought too. I loved the original, but could not get into this one. Your right, it just felt wrong.

Good morning everyone, PJ Lawry's the Prime Rib is fantastic! If you can not get into the one in Beverly Hills, I suggest you try thier first restruarnt, The Tam O'Shanter in the Glendale area of Los Angeles, just off the 5 Freeway. Same food, same quality, no silver serving cart, and the waitresses are 20 years younger! Plus they have chocolate soufflés that are to die for!

Ok off to the VA and then work for me!

Well, I tried really hard in part nine to keep up. So sorry I got behind, hoping everyone is doing well .

I'm sorry that a lot of us are dealing with so many hardships. Hugs and prayers to all in need.Tammy and John and Sophia...my thoughts are with you...and everyone else that needs

I have had a rough week. My son and his GF and my GD have decided they can't live together.My son's girlfriend is just too homesick, and wants to come home to her family, and her and my son have not been getting along. So they are flying home tomorrow night, but my son is staying in Alberta. I'm ecstatic at getting to see my GD this weekend (haven't seen her since Nov) but so sad that this seems to be another family that will not be united. My son loves both his GF and his daughter, I hope we all find a way to stay connected.

Then I got up this morning (my day off) and had a little time to read the paper, a luxury, and happened to read the obits. My birth father (haven't seen him in over 20 yrs) has passed away I always wondered if I would know when he was gone. If I hadn't read the paper then I would not have known. I called one of my brother's, and he only knew because his wife had read the obits too. My birth father ( my mother divorced and remarried long ago) was an alcoholic . I was 11 yrs old when he left, so remember him and although I tried to keep in touch until my early 20's, lost touch when he just never seemed to be interested in me or my family (booze was just so much more interesting )So here I am today, mourning my father, but really, mourning what could have been...I may have lost out on having him as a father, but he lost out on knowing me and my children, his grandchildren. How sad I feel so sad for him, for myself and for my children.

Sorry for such a bleak post .

Looking forward to this vacation more than ever!

It's a hard one to deal with. My parents split up when I was 18. My mom had never worked or driven (of course my dad told her she didn't have to) so I quit college and went to work. I had my mom and two younger sisters to support. I've been working ever since! I did get the chance to see my dad when he was in the hospital before he passed away after not seeing him for almost 12 years - he looked at me and said "you look tired". I replied, "I've been tired since I was 18". He said he knew and was sorry. I try to focus on that when I do think of him. It always makes me sad that I wasn't more sad when he passed away. But, I have no guilt and know that it was him who chose to leave us.

Wow, what a downer!!! Not usually like me . . . but Kathe's story just brought all these things back to the surface. It's good every now and then to think about them and then pack them away again! Because of all of that I had the opportunity to be so close with my mom and sisters in a different way than I would have. It definitely made me the person I am today! Whoever that is!!! HAHA
