Yes she is correct - if you purchased your ticket before March 29th you are not included (our DC trip is on Northwest)

The issue I have with delta is they are not grandfathering anyone in - they do not care when you purchased - it is all about when you are flying - not when you purchased your ticket.

That sucks. It seems like some airlines care less and less about their customers all the time.

UGH, I am not flying Delta for this cruise...but I am flying it in Aug to North Carolina. What a pain 1 suitcase is going to be, I am going back for a conference and need lots of books and supplies for the meeting.

Someone asked about Frank today. Tomorrow he will have been out of the hospital for 1 week....I think that will be a record.

He is feeling a little better. The last hospital stay they changed all of his medication and I think this may be working better than any of the others. For you nurses, they have him on vacomicine (sp?) They say this is the last resort drug. I sure hope it works. He did go out to Starbucks with me and DH this morning....but he has slept most of the rest of the day. He is watching Game Show network all the time and he yells at the TV when the contestant makes a bad choice. DH and I laugh out loud. He is yelling at Lets Make A Deal and The Newlywed Game.

Here he is just a few minutes ago with Goldie.

Lisa, this is such GREAT news!!!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. How wonderful for him and you and your family. One week is good.....very good! I will pray that he continues to get better.

omg I - well we - are freaking out. It is storming bad here...llightining just struck twice diagonally across from our house and then in the empty lot in our backyard.....I have never seen this this close. yowser!

DELTA only cares about the money right now. Passengers are taking a back seat. Customer service is awful right now. Hopefully they will change back to the DELTA they use to be.

I have personally called the airline to verify.

DH and I are both medallion. Does that make a difference?

Scott laughs at me, but I can't handle things like this either. He figures since I am a doctor, I should be the only to be involved, but no way...not when it comes to my own kids...I freak!!!!! But, I can calmly tell him everything to do and he will do it so we work great as a team.

Hello Everyone:

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Does anyone know if DCL will come out with gifts to have delivered to the cabin which are special for the Panama Canal cruise? We had called to order some things for our girls from the gifts online but the lady told us that they would be coming out with gifts specifically for our cruise so she suggested we wait. I still don't see anything so am beginning to wonder if I should just order from their normal merchandise. Would have thought if they were having special gifts they would have included them in the little catalogue they had sent out to people on the cruise. They don't seem to plan far in advance which I guess is why many people are still listed as GTY.
