V - we (Ian, Sukie & I) met on the 4nt 12/10/06 cruise

I think I need to go read my TR from that cruise.

And I think we need a link to it! ::yes::

My husband had knee surgery yesterday. He was in severe pain today but we hope tomorrow will bring a better day. Our three little girls and I are staying in a great motel in Winnipeg. It has a playarea and pool so the girls have been having fun playing.

Here's wishing a speedy recovery for your DH.

I think the other rotations are
PLA
LAP

I think they all go in the same order, just start with different days--Parrot Cay always follows Animator's, etc.

Yes, those are the rotations.

Often people request a particular rotation due to the TIME also. Some of us have requested APL because it's the 8PM seating...a half hour head start on 'digesting' time before the late night activities & treats!

On a normal itinerary, GENERALLY, adults only groups are seated at the last rotation (LAP) of each seating (early and late). There tend to be fewer children on that rotation.

The rotations we've been discussing are all requests, won't know for sure what we get, till we check in. I'm betting the APL rotation will be chock full of DISers! :thumbsup2

Sorry about Molly's injury!

Good Morning Cruisers........I just ordered roses for my stateroom and the funny part is that I don't have a room number yet so I asked the CM about that. She said my order goes with my reservation and it doesn't matter that I don't have a room number. I asked when I might get assigned and she said not until 2 weeks out from your sail date. WOW! I thought it was 30 days out from the sail date, nope! 2 weeks! Oh well, wherever I end up, I'll have some pretty pink roses in my room.

We thought the kilts were wonderful when we saw them on prior cruises for Fromal night - not daft at all -

So, if weight were not an issue, please please bring the kilts - if weight prevents it, we understand....(sad) but understand.

My son is wearing the kilt now cos he have nothing to fit him now as I bought two new waistcoat & tie to match with shirt last year, now it is too small:sad2: I am annoying cos it is new and never worn it for last Cruise!! Because he wore the kilt.

hmmmm - I am on hold. WOW, she transferred me to a supervisor and he said dining is not assigned until within 7 dyas of your travel date. I did mention the DIS boards, which "of course" he knew of, but he still assured me no one is assigned yet. You can request specific rotations or times and they will try and accomodate you.

What? I just really wanted the time!

2 weeks, are they kidding?:sad2: Why the big problem with our cruise?:confused3

I am on the phone with DCL, they are saying I won't know dining rotation until check in.

I was going to phone too. Can we request a certain seating? If we have booked through DU etc, do we have to go through them?

That is correct! It will be on your key to the world card.

some people have been posting theirs already! And I think on our last cruise the person who headed up our dining had all that prior to us getting to the port. :confused3

Deb - you really love pink don't you??!! :)

Marilyn - you can call and put the request on your reservation.

V.....hang up and try again.....you'll get a different CM and one will tell and one won't tell.....just a luck of the draw......and make sure you call the CC phone number.....you can get it off of the website.

Goodmorning all, Off to teach early this morning.

A reminder to all who have not returned their lanyard info, don't forget to send it to me. I will be responding to all the kind offers to help with the money this week. Also, if you did not get an order form from me or you are new to the thread please PM me. Thanks, Kelly

Yes, but I once heard a really funny quote from a celebrity (can't remember who now) to the effect that "if the National Enquirer says you only have a few weeks to live, you'd better get your affairs in order!"

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We've got a friends daughter with us over night with THE CHICKEN POX!!!! I got an email from him this morning asking me to call asap, I did and heard that his sister was in the hospital very sick. I asked him when he was coming to see her, and he said he couldn't as he had his daughter with the cpox. No worry bring her here and go see sis. He did and she was very content spending the afternoon with Molly & Wilson. Of course Molly & Wilson are happy to have a friend around. I'm very glad that we work at home and have the flexibility to help out friends when we can. Prayers for Liz to recover. She is in stable condition, but had a ruptered bowel and was septic. Scary...Going to call it an early night and hit the pile of work on my desk early tomorrow.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: none of us have had the Chicken pox here.

A note from my friend who was in a cat. 11 - her husband sent her roses and she had no space for them, so they kept ending up on the floor. :rotfl2: After about 4 days she kept saying "I love them, but I wish they'd die!"

So I've been sitting here multi-tasking: eating my Subway sub, reading posts and posting, and watching last week's Survivor. I just discovered a big thing I miss about my laptop. I have to PAUSE Survivor to go to the bathroom! :rotfl: I'm so used to carrying my laptop around the house with me to whichever room I happen to be in! :lmao:

Can you say WTMI:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I got the medical form from Disney Cruise for our deaf family. (I think for interpreter I don't know why I have to fill in) Had it for 3 cruise.

I went along to the doctor reception for the doctor to sign it. I left it and come back. While two weeks ago I took my son Keith to see the doctor because Keith have wart on the finger also trouble eater (refused to eat any fruits and veg) and he have trouble tummy!! Reception told me that my doctor will charge me 32 pounds for sign it!!:scared1: Lucky, I have an appointment with another doctor as she was signed the form for last Cruise with Med. So I took the form and went along to see her. Guess what she signed it and didn't charge me at all. I walked away with it.

That's nuts

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are warmer than we are in NW Minnesota at the moment. Today was -16 when I got up, I thought spring was on the way!

I am sorry to read about the difficulties people are experiencing. Hope they all get straightened out.

We have 3 stray dogs show up on our farm on Tuesday. I am very suspicious that they have been discarded on the road, which is too bad because they are nice dogs.

Trying to write my goal statement for my grad school application. If anyone has done one, I would appreciate some pointers!!! :scared1:

Well, I'll continue to keep an eye on you guys (hahahahaha)!

Ha Ha Ha.....only recently......I was always a blue person, but since my 11 night southern cruise where my theme was hot pink and all my outfits reflected that....my nail polish, fingers and toes, were hot pink.....since then, I've been liking pink more. I think it had to do with the southern islands and how hot it was. Hot pink was more appropriate than cool blue.....and it just stuck. That cruise was over a year ago in Sept 2006. That was my favorite cruise that I've ever taken so far. I have a feeling this one is going to top that one. This is my first DIS cruise. That willl really make all the difference.

That's why I got the short stemed roses in a flat bowl. They won't take up that much room. I can keep them on my vanity or on my table in front of the couch. They won't be in the way and they'll smell beautiful and look nice for two weeks.....and they're pink.

Glad you managed that for free Deborah. I do know we have to pay for certain things from the Doctor's but that one should be free.
