Very cute kitty!

OK everybody, this might be my last post of the day. My computer is about to die permanently. I had problems a few months ago with the screen bouncing up and down often and my friend told me he thinks it's the video card about to go bad, whatever that means. NOW, it looks like a staticy tv station -- and I can barely see anything, so I'm going to use these last few minutes of it's life to save all my pics to discs in case I can't get back on again. I hope it's not too expensive to fix because a new computer is not in the budget until next year. :sad2:

I'll check in when at work tomorrow during lunch.

Oh no!

OK...so now my computer decided to start behaving. For a bit, that is. So I guess I'll keep posting until it dies! Decided to upload my pics to kodakgallery where I have my others, rather than on disk for now, just in case I lose the disks in my messy bedroom.

Oh good!!!:lmao:

Is everyone dressing up for pirate night? I will be wearing this for the Pirate and Princess Party and Pirate night:

2007Oct-Nov023.jpg

Yes, I have a Jack Sparrow outfit and yes I know girls aren't supposed to be him but I like it.

I think you look fab. We are going to be just honorary pirates - white tops, jewellery and bandana!!!!:lmao:

Ian... I'm going to try not to gain 10 lbs... Ok???

So how many fruits are in a margarita???? (forget it... I don't want to know!!!)

Better lose 10lbs in preparation.

Hello! from AuburnGuy:rolleyes1

I received a surprise?:thumbsup2 A cruise thru the Panama Canal! It looks like I will be joining the party!:cool1: :cool1:

I received a Bigger Surprise when it came with a bill! :scared:

This may provoke me into passing the hat for donations:grouphug: :cheer2:

So lets all be friends when I come to meet you with my hat in hand!:flower3:

Yall Come! for all the fun pirate: :rotfl2:

Welcome. There are a few folk getting the cruise as a surprise.:)

That would be a lot better! Oh well...I have to make sure I have his bag packed, sleeping bag, etc all ready. Because I know when we get home, I will not want to focus on that!

Does anyone ever get blue thinking about that day when it will be all over?:sad1:
Lisa

I can't cope with thinking about the endo of the cruise. Having the few days at DL helps a bit but.........:sad1:

DW is invited for lunch at Club 33 tomorrow, so I'll tag along to spend the day at Disneyland and California Adventure.

I asked DW to go out on a balcony during lunch and toss me a bread roll or two.

Woody

I have been reading about Club 33 so Mrs Woody is very lucky!!!!:thumbsup2 Enjoy the bread roll.:rotfl:

remember, you are safe, we have a special date planned everynight to sneak into Palo's and get our chocolate fix...not to mention, save the points for DODs

Ian how many of those can we have???

What's a DOD? Then I can figure out the points.

91 pages ---- must start to catch up....

Love all the pirate costumes, it sounds like the ship will be full of pirates....aaarg.....

Scottishwee35 - Love the picturs of your kids - what a thoughtful present. What part of Scotland are your from?

As to the Face of Evil - I can relate - I have two - both were rescue cats....they are now sweethearts, except for the times when they are devils.

Coffee - must have coffee...:surfweb:

No gym today - never go on a Friday!!! Raining here now and I think there are going to be gales tonight!:scared:

I hope you are enjoying cleaning the kitchen! Shame about work too.:sad2:

What's a DOD? Then I can figure out the points.

Drink of the Day - there is a club formed on our cruise thread. I think they are going to try them all!!!:dance3: I'm sure there is a list somewhere, there always is!!!:lmao:

Cabo - Not us either we are (can you guess) Diving...

But what is the Cabo Harbor Cruise? I don't want to go seach the fishes to find out....

Michelle and Holly - yes my computer ran away as well.....It seems the battery cord had become unplugged oh, about a week ago, and I had no clue - thus, no juice, no PC......silly human error....Fixed now. Although, maybe it wanted to rest:laughing:

Disney without PArks - lots of fun.....Just walking around the resorts and looking at the various art - flowers and theming is enjoyable. Then of course, the tour of the TIKI Bars - not recommended if you are driving. Ft. Wilderness has hiking paths that connect with Wilderness Lodge - Downown Disney and window shpping - fun. Animal Kingdom Lodge - you can wander around the hotel and see the animals on the Savanna - they have storytelling at night around a campfire and students from Africa are on the Savanna and will tel you stories about their lives and the animals. Wilderness Lodge - watch Old Faithful - Disney discourages pool hopping but you can rent bikes and tour the lake area - there are many nice water birds who frequent the area. Boardwarlk - take a walk, rent a surrey....Coronodo Springs is a good place to rent a boat and paddle on the lake. More, much more.....Where are you staying? ON property?

I was thinking of minature golf too. The sea racers are fun! Beaches and Cream is a must thanks for the reminders. I really want to do a park but can't decide which one. We are going to MK the next day for the P&P Party, DH doesn't want to do Epcot, and MGM and AK only take us a half day. It is alot for a one day park ticket for a half day park. We might do MGM though if Toy Story Mania is open. My room mate still works down there and I am hoping she can sign us in.

exccccccccccccccussse me.....DH does not want to do Epcot - he needs to speak to my DH - he loves Epcot - Why not do AK in the morning and then stop at the Tusker House bar and watch the shows for a while. Take the water ride on the way out to cool off and get wet....Epcot in the afternnin to take advantge of the tickets - Spaceship Earth is now open again. Canada is revised for the show. Mexico added Donald for the little ones - and then, there is the flowers and topieries and, well, beer....

We spoke to our 4th grade's teacher today and broke the news of the cruise. She was great. We talked about making a powerpoint presentation on the panama canal, and we might tie in information on the Gold Rush, as that is what he is studying. Does anyone have any plans on having their kids do a report? I was thinking that it would be fun for them to do a group project. So any 4th graders that might be interested, let me know! We are telling our kids on Easter. After Easter, for whoever is interested, maybe they can start to do a little research before the cruise? I can take responsiblity of the power point. All the kids could then use the same one. Figure we can try to finish a lot of it before the cruise, and then add pictures from the cruises.

I'm on my 4th day of the juice fast/feast thing. Not sure what to say about it at this point. Lisa

MY FIRST SERIOUS POST - Not that you do not have enough to organize but....on our November 2005 cruise, we had a "kids meet event" for the kids mostly in school. Each kid brought postcards from thei state or local area. On the back of the postcard a greeting was writtten, many inlcuded the state birds, motto and other news. We had a map of the US (for this cruise it owuld need to be the world) and part of the fun was to see how many states could be colored in - many children had not met so many others from different parts of the states. This information was then used in a school report. Most folks went to the local Dollar stores for postcards. There were not as many Dissers and I participated (no kids) and my cards were generic views of Florida - flowers, fish, dolphins, views of the city etc. It was fun to see the little ones going around and exchanging post cards. Webistes list the various songs, mottos, mascots of the state and some folks printed these and pasted them to the back. A screen name was included for reference. Just a thought - it could be a kids scrap book - or authograph book, along with greetings from the kids friends they meet on the cruise. I still have my postcards somewhere.

OK BACK TO CHATTING NOW.

I saw a post about a Relay for Life, which I would walk for, ...but I wondere if there are runners out there. I am a runner-wanna-be, who is turning 40 this year, and I promised myself I would run the Peachtree 10K before 40....ok, so i am often a little last minute. Anyway, I hope to atleast get in a little time on the ship and wonder if anyone would be interested. Keep in mind i am a first time 5k-er in April.....

Similar thoughts to you be a wee bit older - we started walking this year, not running - been there done that - it hurts - but we have stuck to our walking routine since December - I like to walk around deck 4 in the morning early - you never know you you will see - last year - Jack Sparrow - wander, wander - fall, wander - swoon. (um that was Jack, not me):lmao:

I never talk about it or even think about it until packing the last night. I don't want to be sad about that during the cruise, but want to spend every second enjoying it.

I was just talking about this the other day.....dreaming of this cruise has gotten me through some pretty rough/stressful times over the last year....what am I going to do when I don't have this to plan anymore:sad1:
You will have all of us to e-mail still, and I'm sure many of us will exchange phone numbers too before we part, and you can always reach out that way for moral support!
