Well then he got to feel our storm early this morning. Winds up to 70 miles an hour and rain, rain, and more rain!

oh that is such good news for you...water water everywhere!!!!

He didn't mention it to me this morning, just way tired from the red eye.

What shall I ask for him to snoop around and bring back to the kiddos from Atlanta??? I so wish I could have gone with him, I'd love to see Girl Scout head quarters in Savannah. How far is that from Atlanta?

I told John he needs to sit and think today how much cash we should actually take.....I am so undecided....don't want to charge much.

Hopefully doing the excursions on our own will help a bit as well. We don't so the speciality coffee so no worries with Cove Cafe....the spa would be nice, but at our rehab here at work an hour is $30-40....maybe a few rainforest trips. We'll bring drinks for some savings....Aside from pins and maybe a few shirts or ornaments I don't see us buying much from the cruise shops......

ok re DL tickets....if they take WDW passes....
John, Samantha and I have a WDW one day pass...which we will probably never use...thus I was going to turn those in and buy us one day park hoppers....for $263. a two day for Haley would be $112 for $375 (gosh that seems a lot!)
an AP deluxe is 259..not sure of the blackout dates though. And if it would give me any discount on the GC.....

adult and child ap price is the same I see.

again, check to see if Deluxe will give you the AP rate. Usually they are far and few at GC too...

I was thinking Bug, like the car, then I was thinking hmmmm Marilyn you could park your creepy crawling bug there (btw, thanks for getting rid of it, but I'm not telling you directly, in case you bring that stinky thing back:scared1: )

Some people just don't know when to leave well enough alone !!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Doug

well, Holly that is good news...you are still in the running. Fingers crossed for you!

ok I have reservations at GC two nights, standard room $745.20 + resort fees so total is $768.20 AAA rate which is the same as the DL AP rate. (that's almost a three day cruise!)

I called to check other rates....
GC AP rate is the same as what I have...

DL Hotel standard room $260, $234 AP/AAA rate so that would be $538.20 plus resort fee $561.20... gosh that is a lot still for two nights!

yes, the rates are high. We have only 3 on sight compared to what there is in FL. It's not an apples to apples when you compare. California costs alot!!!

I would like to go into the park and walk around and get familar with the layout and maybe do a ride or two. Would like to see the parade too. Since I know how crowded it will be I am not planning on getting too much done. My DGS is dying to ride the double ferris wheel!
We are not leaving until Thurs. so we have time.

Gydell, you haven't been to Dland yet right? I say go all the days you can if you have an AP, it's a no brainer. Everything is very walkable and you can do the rides you like over and over during a few days...:goodvibes

I'm sure with six threads for this cruise meet that this has been said before, but here goes. Castaway Cay day is Mother's day this year. Do you think they will have something special for it.

DOD's and massages all around....that's what I'm thinking....

Tips and Extras

I am thinking about adding money to our on board account now, for the extras on the cruise.

How much do you think the tips will run for the 15-nights?

(PS - I've had no updates on the whereabouts of Mrs. Bennett. All I know is that she's somewhere between Anchorage and Chicago. I've already cleared out a spot on the kitchen counter for her in anxious anticipation of her arrival!)

What are the toaster and coffee pot named??? I'm not even asking about the tea pot, I'm sure she is Mrs. Potts, right:rolleyes1

I asked this earlier because I'm not really sure and someone answered one part of it but not the other. What time do the kids clubs close and what time do the shows end? I was wondering if there was a chance that my husband and I could both go, at least for an hour or so. We are on the west coast and I was going to try to keep the kids on our time so they could stay up later. Plus I hope they will have so much fun this wouldn't be a problem. But it probably wouldn't be good if we did it on a day that we had to wake up early. Oh well I say let's stay up for the entire 15 days, we can sleep when we're dead!

yes, I totally agree:thumbsup2

I (and the kids really) like the look of the neverland pool...for the price I really feel like we should stay at the darn hotel all day! I also wished we have more time...we'll only have what's left of Sunday and Monday...! Oh well....another reason to come back in the future!

The Neverland pool is at the DL hotel.

because with more trips we can lower the average cost of each trip, therefore making the pass pay for itself at a certain point. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I crack myself up!!!

When are you going down???

I was thinking I would drive down on March 25th and stay till the night of the 28th. Then again I might go a few days before over Easter time.

Stole this from someone's signature - thought it was so funny!!!

Well, hopefully! My hope is to turn it into a 2nd job. The advisor who recruited me used to work 3 jobs when she started selling, now this is her only job.

And I just received the go-ahead from the company to set up MY OWN WEBSITE with them, so I hope to get that done tonight! :woohoo: This is very exciting!

It's hard on a single income. I've been working multiple jobs since I was in college. It just never made sense to me why to stop at 40 hours a week and I want to enjoy live and to do that you have to work for the extras. Working self-employeed makes me really appriecate what I can do. I work more now that I ever did while being employeed but I also enjoy the benefits of my own efforts.

I have a school mom friend that sells it too, she is happy and making some good money, so I say stick to the hard work it will pay off in the end.
