I don't remember being scared, never lost consciousness, joked with the paramedics. Do remember thinking, wife is going to be angry, she will have to run the ministry for awhile. But most of all, being so proud of my then 6 year old, no tears, telling all that I would be fine, because he was praying!

All better now, taking as much time with the family as I can, hence this cruise.

Joseph

Amazing, and your son was correct wasn't he? :) That is a great testimony.

I think all the kids look so cute when they are all excited and in awe of the ship and the trip in general! This picture is my sons first time off the ship and he is headed to the beach. He couldn't stop smiling. Picture wise it is not the best shot I took but it captured how he felt the whole time perfectly. To me this picture is why Disney is worth the money. I looked around and noticed it seemed other peoples kids were all smiley too.

What a great picture.

Makes me feel a bit better. Just hope they are working on a solution for the sake of other cruisers in the future.

Marr, this is a highlight for me on Disney, seeing the excitment of the kids.

Hey Joseph didn't get fired after the Panama Canal fee issue last year. :rolleyes1

With dance, piano, soccer and mom working...that is pretty much all I can handle:lmao: They really have never shown an interest and I would say it isn't huge around here. Actually Campfire is more predominant around here...and 4H.

Exactly, don't need something to break the camel's back! (NO, I'm not inferring you're a camel but you get the expression.:goodvibes ) Especially if the girl's aren't asking to do it!

well almost quitting time. I have to be at the hospital at 6 am to help out so I need to go to bed early tonight! I hate getting up early. so do the girls...

Actually, I am a full time +++++ professional Girl Scout. Handle all finance for the State of Utah (and a little part of Nevada), we have a huge geographical area. I report to the CEO, the COO, and the Board of Directors. So I get paid for my work!

Wow so you really have your hands full this time of year! I can't even imagine all the cookie details.:worship:

Yet another Priceless moment!!!

Add a few years and I think that was me in 2006!! ;)

I am going to my eye exam soon. John got his yesterday...nice to have new contacts. We've been due for a while. Now to make dental, derm, and physical appts! Haley goes for her 3 year check up and Samantha too the end of the week. She didn't want to get into the carseat today, but I a big girl mommy, I a big girl!

I remember when my daughter decided one day she was a big girl. She had just turned two. She told me she was a big girl and "big girl got seat belt". I had to explain to her she was not that big yet to which she replied "but I got panties". :) I guess I had been really heavy on the praise for her being potty trained and she thought she was big enough to do anything you know .........because she had panties!

Ok... cough it up... what are you guys talking about... promise I won't bid... ;)

If you get the flights...keep an eye out for the DING things...you may get credit for other flights... that's what I did for my trip last week to TX and I got enough back for my flights to MCO!!!

Search ebay for: Bare escentuals friendship. It is a bag with a picture of a cruise ship on it. :)

I will also keep an eye out for the ding fares. My original fare to Florida went down and they credited me back asap for the difference!

Speaking of photos - For the returning PC Cruisers, what is the photo budget for this trip???? We want all the special prints but is there a good package?

Just the usual packages - nothing special - if you buy the most expensive package - count on spending about $500.

You know, I kind of felt the same way when I grew up. My parents were older (I was a "surprise" when they already had 2 teenagers) and by the time I came along they were just kind of "done" with all the lessons, classes and activities. I was feeling sorry for myself one day when it suddenly occurred to me, "You know, they have all those same classes for adults, too!" So I went and signed up for horseback riding lessons, then went on to take a singing class, then a tap class, and I never looked back. Tell him no one's stopping him from taking karate now!

Cool Idea! Thanks for the new viewpoint - I will definitely bring it up.

I tried the making up point. DS used to say that he never had a big wheel - well, on his 18th birthday, I found a big wheel that was for a small adult - he was still slight at the time - ran track so he was all of 150 lbs and still on the short side - about 5'9" - anyway, for his birthday, I told him if he continued to slam me he would be sorry - I brought out the big wheel - and made him ride it down the street since he also claims that I never let him ride in the street until after he was 13. (I didn't - we are on a semi-busy street) But come on - that isn't all bad is? I mean he's still here.:confused3

BTW, the big wheel broke when he and my brother took turns riding down the street at midnight on New Years! And no - they weren't drunk! :rotfl2:

Hello! We're about 2.5 months away from sailing! woohoo!!! :thumbsup2 But that also means I need to start saving lots of $$$$ to pay it off! :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao:

That will be all of us in May, right?! :cool1:

Marr...adorable picture! I think watching kids is one of the best experiences of Disney...just seeing the excitement, happiness (and even the fear over meeting some of the characters for the first time!) and the laughter!

Well, this camel is certainly broken at times :lmao: During soccer season it gets quite hectic, but thankfully we get a break in the winter months. I was just going over the girls' schedule with my mom because she will have them for the 10 days we are in Mexico (2 weeks from today :beach: :wave2: ) and she looked at me when we were done and asked if I was exhausted yet because she was already:lmao:!
