When I was in elementary school (I think 6th grade), we had a field trip to see the movie at a local theater. WHY in the world would a school think kids that young would enjoy sitting through such a long movie?! Nobody enjoyed it and many kids fell asleep. Possibly they wanted us to experience the historical value of the theater, but that's not even something kids that age care about! Holly, that is the perfect age to expose kids to culture and theater. Molly's 4th grade class went to the opera and then to a ballet, then a theater company from SF came on campus and they with the class co-created and performed The Barber of Seville.

I think you do need to expose kids early and often to classics and then they will grow to love them. Or hate them with a passion....

That theater is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I would like to post something that someone sent me that really made logical sense - maybe I was in the right frame of mind but it actually inspired me to go back to the gym and actually do cardio. Its only been 1 week but you guys don't know how hard this has been for me - and all because its just plain laziness on my part. I will go and look for it and hopefully it strikes a chord with everyone!

I'll be very happy to see this because I'm in desperate need of motivation and inspiration. After losing 45 pounds (when I was trying to lose 70), I was never able to force myself to the gym to continue losing. So I gained back 10 pounds. Sure, that's still a 35 pound loss, but it's really discouraging to get so close to that goal and start going the opposite direction. I'm just so tired all the time and just come home from work and head straight to the couch to eat and lie around. I know I'd have more energy if I could start working out, but NEED MOTIVATION DESPERATELY.

Also, for those asking about the internet. I can say that I bought the largest package, $150, on the magic during the med cruise. The internet connection was HORRIBLE...to say the least. The best connection I could get was on deck 4 around 10pm each night or at 6am each morning. BUT, I had to wait and would get disconnected. Anyways, I went to guest services and they gave me more time. So, if you buy the internet (which I have too) make sure anytime you have a delay or get booted off or stuck, go to guest services and make them give you the time back. There is no reason to pay for a service you are not getting. It was not a problem, they were happy to do it.

Another problem sellers have with the new policies is that the feedback system that many rely on to help them weed out bad buyers will be dismantled. This, they say, will make it easier for negligent bidders and scammers to cheat them, reported Fortune Small Business.

My biggest complaint is sellers who don't leave feedback after you have bought an item. They wait for you to leave feedback (as a buyer) and then they leave it depending on what you have said. I'm sorry but if you got my money and information and you have shipped out the item, your end is done and you should immediately leave the feedback.

I have stopped giving feedback at all until I receive it when I am a buyer. And if the seller never gives it, then I won't ever give feedback in the other direction.

As such, the feedback system is flawed with these current practices because if no feedback is left, then no one is the wiser and it becomes completely useless.

This has actually turned me off ebay for the most part as it has happened FAR too frequently of late. </soapbox>

And I didn't even think of it the other way around! Too funny! I should have thought though because the people I worked with in the summer had come directly from working at a ski lodge in the winter and were headed back the following winter. I hate snow and try not to think about it! If I ever am able to live in Jackson, my plan is to cruise all winter or live in FL for winters. Of course, this plan will only come to be if I win the lotto!
