a raise is always nice, hope you get a large one....! Every little bit helps!

It won't be too big because I'm pretty maxed out where I am. But something is better than nothing! The office manager is going to try to get paid holidays for me, but I really doubt that will happen. Maybe though.....especially since they know I'm looking elsewhere and if they want to entice me to stay, paid holidays would help.

I've been reading and not posting. Just have not felt like it. Trying to get my tivo emptied......dealing with leg and dealing with sore throat, swollen glands....doing lots of resting.

But I never go too far. I'm here with you all. I'm reading about everyone's trials and tribulations of life.....and I still feel like I'm a part of them all and sharing them with you all.

Lisa/DL5 You are an awsome person.....you are so good and giving and kind....and that's what we all aspire to be. Just remember this time and know that you will not be like that for your kids when the time comes. They will be happy to have your company and that's a good thing.

I was wondering if you weren't feeling too good Deb. Hope the throat clears up fast, and keep those legs elevated.

I'm here about 30 pages behind. Catching up now. Been out with sore throat and cold. No have no voice. Wrote the kids a note last night telling them Paul and I were going to bed asked them to pick up and turn out lights when done with a movie. Wilson looks at me and says "are you yelling at us" He thought my note was yelling Man I'm a mean mom....

They ran out in Dec. So many people on cpaps now I guess. We had borrowed one our first cruise way back, always brought our own until last Dec when we forgot. We did not think about it until bed time and by then all were loaned out.

Was skimming through some old posts and saw this. A few years ago I picked up a 10 foot flat extension cord from CVS. Works great for CPAP, etc., lies flat on floor and packs very compactly. Was only about $5 too and has 3 outlets, so great for recharging plugs too.
