Well, if I have to bring what I already own, technically it is floor length...as it's PANTS with panels over it that make it look like a skirt...kind of hard to describe. It looked nice walking and dancing, but was kind of a pain when sitting down. I may go with a knee length skirt and sparkly top for the other formal night. :confused3 Who knows, you may see me in the same thing both nights.

You'll see lots of knee length and tea length dresses on formal night.

Okay, that's settled then, I'll stick to what I already own for dresses, that leaves me more money for other outfits :woohoo: Your pants/skirt outfit sounds really nice Jackie. I'm pretty sure, for the 15 nights we're gone, that I'll be wearing things more than once too :thumbsup2 ( I promise they'll be clean though!)

My son taught me--there is a button called PRNT SCREEN and then you go to a PAINT program and when it opens you hit PASTE and there is the whole computer screen you had been looking at. You can do a CROP and then open a new PAINT page and PASTE. Then, viola, there is the picture you want.

BUT

if you give me a minute or three, I will see if I can get it onto the boards here. Can you copy it from a post?

Jan :earsgirl:

Great screen grab, Jan.

See now on an Apple computer, you just hold Cmd+Shift+4 then let go you have crosshairs to drag over the area you want. Hold down the right mouse button, drag over area, let go the picture lands as a file on your desktop. ;) :confused3 :thumbsup2

I went shopping today and bought a new T (no fishes on it though  ) and a pair of capris. Thought I better at least start looking for some new stuff for this cruise. I'd like to lose a little weight before then, so don't want to buy too much yet, but if I don't lose and don't buy anything now I know I'll be really stessed when it gets even closer. Still haven't been to the gym :sad2: but I did have to shovel snow 3 times in the last week, and at an hour each time these were pretty good workouts :yay:

Ladies, for formal night, I was planning on wearing a dress I already own, it's knee length. Am I going to look out of place:confused3 Do most of you wear floor length? DDD+D (well, actually just DDD for this question;) ) what's everyone wearing?

Kathe

Knee length is fine and what I plan on wearing

Have a great night all. Good luck on the car hunting V! Scott used some website when we bought our car 5 years ago and it helped him a ton. I'll ask him about it later and get that info to you.

I'll try to pop on later tonight but I have Valentine's cards to get ready, goodies to make for the class parties AND laundry...of course, BB to watch as well.

Ok, speaking of BB....what did everyone think? I don't know if I am going to like this one as much. It didn't start off that great in my opinion.

John....I kept thinking of the song they sing in there...."just keep swimming...." I can't remember all the words but those and I kept singing that on Saturday night!

Hey Mr Grump Gills
You know what you gotta do when life gets you down?
Just keep swimming
Just keep swimming
Just keep swimming swimming swimming
What do we do we swim, swim, swim
OH HO HO How I love to swim
When you WAAAAAANNTTT to swim you want to swim

And, at this address:http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/findingnemo/justkeepswimming.htm

You can get a free ringtone with this tune!

(SCREAM!!!!!!) I just got off the phone with Dolphin Discover. Man, what a bunch of thick people!!!!!!!!!!!
Must breath...........:headache:

John: GG = Gossipgirl. You sent her pictures of TWICE CHARMED. Did she answer? Did you send them as a PM? If so, and if she is banned, she may not have gotten them.

Jan :earsgirl:

No Jan, never got a response. Forgot about her.

Love  my little Toyota RAV4 too! It goes in for it's 65,000 check up tomorrow.

I have a RAV4 too and LOVE it!!!

I have been looking all over my monitor for print screen, and low and behold there it is on my keyboard. DOH!

Disboard is educational!!! :thumbsup2 Thanks, I have learned something new!!!!

You know whats sad. DH never told me how to do that. I just leaned from you!:rotfl:

Yes, 11 is a hard age isn't it? I imagine she is quite opinionated as to what she wants and doesn't want?;) Does she like dressing up? I used to hate shopping for clothes for my daughter, I wanted her to look like my little girl, she wanted to look 20 something  Of course, now that she is 20 something we enjoy shopping together again :)

Kathe
That's mine.
Princess Costumes are seen at Formal Night. Does DD-11 have a princess dress?

Jan :earsgirl:

No I don't think I could get her in a princess dress. The problem with most of the dresses out there is it either looks to young or to old. I am sure I will find something. I am looking for something she can wear to her 6th grade graduation and the boat.

Word has it that no additional times for booking at 75 days will be available. We are first time cruisers and very disappointed at the moment. With 12 days before we can book anything by DCL we are now trying to decide what we will be doing. My son was looking forward to certain excursions, (pirate boat, sea lion swim, canopy zip line. . .) Hopefully he will take it in stride, he might even be fine with beach days.
Joseph

We're actually going with beach days/poking around town for most days. I always get excited about all the different excursions, but frankly the kids get exhausted from an all-day excursion and are happy if they just get off the ship for a couple of hours.

I'm so excited right now! I thought, just by chance, to see if there were any cabana massages available on CC and there was one! I tried Sunday and couldn't get one. Now I just have to hope one opens up for DH.

:woohoo: :cool1:

Wow, I step away from the computer for just a couple of days! So much catching up to do!

No plans for breakfast, though long ago someone mentioned organizing a group breakfast thru the Hyatt. I think I'm going to set aside a wad of money for room service that morning. I'm an early riser (unless we party in the hotel lounge too long), so I'll want some tea and a bit of something early on so I can have plenty of room for lunch on the ship.

I'm keeping a list for the Harbor Tour...how many in your party?

There are 2 of us. Though we have adopted Monica a about a year ago :rotfl:

Valparaiso, IN for 10 1/2 years and now Indianapolis for 3. Close enough?
Jan :earsgirl:

Jan, Valpo is certainly in the neighborhood!

On a completely different note, I was looking at the formal wear available for rental. I'm really disappointed. If we're going to do formal wear, I really want to do tails, not just a dinner jacket.

Anyone know if they will do "specials?" I have my heart set on a set of tails.

hi guys, just popping on to catch up.....I have a dilemna--got an advanced copy of Jodi Picoult's new book at work today. now do Iread it now or save it for the cruise?
