I love late winter early spring....it's one of my favorites. It makes you feel rejuvinated again, like you survived another winter and were looking forward to the warm weather.

Have any of you seen the stage show of Nemo at AK. How about the part with the fish puppets when they point the way to Sidney. If we each had two of those, we could do the animated version of "Please Wait" - morphing into a Mickey head and swimming away again!

John excellent letter and glad you received a call back. (I hope the call was in reference to your letter )
I heard from another cruiser who lurks (vicki...i know your out there) she had forgotten all about the 90 day window sat. night. So not every castaway member booked. It shouldn't have had the problems it did.
Holly You'll have to let us know how tylers afternoon was, since it's still morning here I hope he makes is and is good to go tomorrow. It's tough to have a sick kid who's bored home. I feel your pain this week.

I'm still on the fence about the hummer. It just is soooooo early to get up from wdw and go back to mco...if there's room at the end, i'll think about it. I am leaning on paying the $$ and having a car service pick us up at OKW. No busses, just us and the road. We can stop at the store too.

Well, hope you all have a fabulous day. We have a 4 day weekend this week, so todays my thursday...yahoo....

I look forward to our mini meet this weekend....

We did not do any booking that night either. We knew about the 90 day window, but were not sure what we wanted to figured we would worry about it later.

I only ask because we had requested linked dining on our last cruise, and it was on the DCL site, but when we got to our table we weren't put with the people we were linked with!!! It was said that it was because we were on different group bookings, and that they couldn't do it. We were seated with folk from the same TA group.[/I]

To add on to Agnie, on our December cruise in 2006, a TA chose to move several of our cruisers after a Dis member had spent a lot of time arranging tables and working with DCL to co-ordinate over 200 people from our thread. They were as bewildered as you. A group had to be linked together for the TA to get the group discount/free cabin for a co-ordinator in the case of private groups. Why that can't be corrected for those that are travelling with members outside of the group, bewilders me.

She just came back on and apologized...said she was incorrect, it is for ages 3 and up. She said they just added him to the excursion and that he should stay on this time. I just checked my online ressie and sure enough, he's there, so we'll see how long that lasts.

I told her that they need to get their act together because it's a disaster. She acted like this was news to her. I told her about the 5-6 hours we spent in the middle of the night *trying* to book ressies "Really? Wow!". I told her that the website is a living nightmare and that 300+ of us that talk online on the DIS board are disgusted. Again "wow!". Whatever. If I didn't love Disney so much, I'd be done with them...and they know that, that's the problem. Very disappointing.

Lisa...I hope it sticks this time! You must be tired of just logging on just to make sure he is still there!!!!

I have a couple of people interested in a poker day/night on the cruise. Everyone ask your DH, DW, DD, DS or anyone else you know that is going and maybe we can get enough people for a full table. PM me if you know anyone willing to lose some money! We can plan around everyone's schedule since we'll be at sea so many days. We can decide how much we want the buy-in to be or we can just play fun table games. When you PM me let me know what you prefer. We just want to play!

When they first put the forms on line for booking, I filled them out on line and thought we were all set. I did not print them out. When we got to the port, we had to fill out the coupons in the book so they had paper copies. So why have it on line?

The next time I did it on line and printed them out. The check-in lady was very pleased.

Do we now not have to do that? Can we fill them out on line and be done with it?
check-in documents? Bahama's immigration form?

Will we have Mexican immigration forms too?

This is frustrating. Both the afternoon and morning teacher were together when I dropped Tyler off (the morning one was taking the kids to afternoon class) so they both were all over Tyler, being very sweet to him, etc. That was nice...then they both told me they knew he was sick because they could tell by looking at him that he was miserable. They asked Tyler that morning why he came to school and why he didn't ask to stay home. Tyler told them he'd told his dad and stepmom, but they ignored him and when he told them again he didn't feel well, they told him he was making it up to avoid having to go to school. Um......kindergarteners don't do that, they LOVE SCHOOL at that age!

How sad for Tyler to tell adults he's supposed to be able to trust that he doesn't feel well and have them blow him off! I told Tyler I'd have a talk with his dad today and ask him to please listen when Tyler says he's sick, and the teacher said, "if he would have just LOOKED closely at him, he'd have known".

It's no wonder Tyler doesn't tell him things. There were a few things recently that Tyler had been telling me bothered him, and when I mentioned it to his dad, his dad said, "Well, he's never told us that". Now I understand why. They don't listen to him.

That is so SAD!

I did just a few min. ago get a call from 407 566 3596 on my cell. But when I answered I could not hear anyone respond. I have tried calling back and get either a busy signal or the call immediately cuts off without going thru. I expect that was a call back in repsonse to my email. We will see if they try again. I have LOTS of bars on my phone so I know it is not my connection here.

I wonder if that is an out-going line only.

I, too, hope that we are still linked. I am really looking forward to dining with each of you. If you want, you can PM me your ressie #s and I will see that my TA checks and makes sure that we are still linked. If not she can get us relinked. I know we had several of us on the 11 night SC linked together and we were all using different TA's. One couple wasn't with us though when we got to the ship so we had to see about getting it changed right away. It pays to always check when you first get your KTTW cards because they do make mistakes.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I booked a dolphin swim thru http://www.puertovallartatours.net/swim-with-dolphins.htm and they have a promotion that kids are free with paying adult if you mention the promotion while ordering. Long story short, I called the company to make sure where and when in the order do I mention the promo and then followed their instructions and the instructions on the website which are:
"Kids: Minimum age is 1 year. Children 1-7 must be accompanied by an adult. *Children under the age of 5 participate free of charge with a paying adult. This promotion applies upon client request. E-mail us or use the Comments Area once your reservation is finished. Refunds do not apply after the reservation is made on line."
I noted in the comment area that I wanted the discount with this promotion.
I got an e-mail from them stating I didn't follow the instructions and therefor they are charging me full price. I've copied their instructions to them and asked which part I didn't follow and they won't say, just keep stating they have charged me full price.
So be warned, sadly not a good company to deal with.
