Yep, Kit Kats are my favorite. And I LOVE a Kit Kat Blizzard from DQ.

I'm thinking of DVD's and some candy along with my tips... I'm doing the servers as well... anyone else I should remember? .

How about our favorite......BARTENDERS!!!

Looks like we are leaning towards POFQ. My aunt wants to get a flavour of New Orleans, so this looks to be the ticket. The boat ride to DTD might be nice after sitting on the plane on all day too.


Are there any negatives to staying at POFQ? What about bus ride times to the parks? Line ups to get on a bus? I noted there is only 1 bus stop at POFQ, does the bus service there as well as POR or does each "Port Orleans" resort get it's own bus "system"?

The two PO resorts share the same bus. French Quarter has one stop and is (99% of the time) the first pick up and the first drop off, but you do have to stop at the Riverside stops to collect people. So though you do have stops going out to the parks, you can rely on getting a seat.

The bus to DTD is very relaxing and a nice way to spend your first evening. Check in, check out your room and take the boat to dinner and shopping!

Well, he knew of the possibility of cancelling, but I haven't seen him yet since knowing for sure that we get to go. He's been at his dad's, but I pick him up today at 5 and will tell him the great news that we DO NOT HAVE TO CANCEL now! And I'll show him all the excursions today when he gets home and that will REALLY get his excitement level going! He'll probably want to make his paper chain now to count down the days. He never finished it and I suspect it's because he knew it wasn't 100% sure.

Oh, man! Ever wish you could hire a size model to go shopping for you so you didn't have to try on all those clothes that don't fit right to find the one that does? She could only bring home the ones that actually fit and you could try those on to see which ones you like!

That would be GREAT! I do not like to shop much. DH does, we are not your average couple I guess!

Tomorrow is Darrell's birthday. We are going to the zoo at 8am to see the new Grizzly cubs they have. Not sure what else we'll do tomorrow. Probably eat out somewhere.

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as I just signed up to this board.
This will be the third time that my sons and I have sailed on the magic. First was on the last west coast visit, then the Eastbound TA, and now we are looking forward to the Westbound PC trip. I just put down the final payment yesterday so I am now starting to plan the trip for real! What will make this trip much more memorable will be that my sons and I will be doing it without any other family members on board this time and without a girlfriend in tow. I paid for the GF's TA trip and when she got back, she said she could not take living with my sons anymore and split. (her loss) I guess I will just have to explore the "singles" lunches this time on board. Both my sons are moderate to severely developmentally delayed and have autism. Those on the EB TA may remember them as the two biggest kids (now 23 & 21) in the Oceaneer Lab running around with the 12year olds and having a blast. With luck the captain will allow them to join the other kids again and I can have some time to relax too. If not, then we will be doing a lot of walking while at sea. If anyone hears that they are dropping the "3rd in the room" price like they did on the TA, please let me know.

Look forward to meeting everyone, hopefully before the sailing date, but if not then on board.

Welcome, Steve. There are lots of singles on this cruise so you will not feel out of place. And I will add my commendation to you as a Disney Dad. You are right, GF's loss!

I'm quite stressed about the reservatons tonight. Not sure I will sleep much - have to get up for 5am!!!

In the end really I think the excursions don't matter if they are full and Palo dinner shouldn't be too much of a problem with 15 nights - I could give that a miss anyway.

I just want to experience Palo brunch and high tea as we weren't able to do these on our last cruise and I think this will be our only chance!

Marilyn, don't stress if you don't get them tonight. You can go book as soon as you board. With all these sea days it will be so much easier to get into Palo than it was on your shorter cruise. It's ALL GOOD!

Is it Presidents Day Monday?

I agree entirely. We can always switch excursions but I really want brunch and tea on specific days.

Holy Cow! I got a hold of DCL agent this morning. I told her that I was having trouble with my CC numbers. Goodmorning all, I don't have time to catch up on the past 30 post so let me know if I missed anything important. Today is the big day the princess Valentine's tea party with 6 little 4.5 year olds. They are all wearing princess dresses, it will be a craft and princess tea. 80 degrees today! We made little heart tea cakes, heart decorated cakes, they are making red glitter apples for snow white, fingernails, princess lip balm and much more fun stuff. It should be adorable. Snow white was trying to come, but our time was too close to another booking (my fault as my mother is flying in from the east) We already have next year's party booked with the princesses from Disneyland. So, I'm off to make nametags, talk to you guys tonight after the booking.

Ooooo - sounds like a lot of fun. Don't forget pictures!!!

I just realized that the Westbound leaves May 10th ..., well I didnt realize I will actually be in WDW may 3rd thru the 10th ...Maybe a DIS EB and WB meet ????? We have a Dollar car from the airport for 3 days which we can drop off at the Grosvenor Resort DTD(now a new name, ?Regal Sun) so we will drop that off on the Friday and walk along the road to the Doubletree, pick up the Budget car and then go along to the DTD meet!!!

I know it is complicated, but Dollar don't have a depot at the Port and the othere reasons are far to complicated to bother you with!!!

Those hotels are all right together and right by DTD, so this is a very easy plan. Sounds complicated, but will work fine.

We're going on the WB Repo cruise and I just found my way here. It all looks like fun, but there's so much jargon and so many "inside jokes" here that I don't know where to start!

Welcome Tracy! Just me in my little Cat 11 cave (well, maybe....I'm still in the lifeboat right now!) This will be my 4th Disney cruise. I've done a 4, 7 and 3 day and am REALLY looking forward to two weeks on the ship!

Welcome Steve and sons. Are we going to have any luck dragging you three 'boys' on to the dance floor? There are several unattached woman, of a variety of ages, who will be looking for dance partners.

(actually, every time I've been to the clubs, everyone just gets up and dances, whether they have a partner or not!)

I have been looking without sucess. Does anyone have a schedule on events for the cruise, like what nights are the formal nights, Pirates Night. This would help in making plans tonight.

I have an incrediable amount of energy this morning. Already started a pot of homemade soup and did a load of laundry and paid bills. I'll thinking I might clean out closets and dresser drawers when I get back and get a head start on spring cleaning.
