Good Morning!

Can I just vent? I HATE SNOW, I HATE SNOW, I HATE SNOW.

It is snowing again. I am sick of driving in the snow, shoveling the snow, and just looking at snow.

Okay.....I feel better now.

Thanks for listening!

You're welcome - vent away. We don't get decent snow these days!

You now sign for room service upon delivery. I guess food was disappearing between the kitchen and the staterooms?

Anyway, they have added a tip line, so you can now add the tip right to your stateroom bill and don't have to have any spare dollars hanging around!

By the way...my last post (that SNOW thing) was my post #3,666. Pretty kewl number if I say so myself!

Well that's a good idea. Didn't make use of the room service on our last(& first) cruise, but sure am planning to this time.

I must say that my scrapbooks have been a victim of my depression this year. It is just (still) too over whelming for me to even think about doing anything......as much as I want to I just can't do it. :sad1:

I haven't scrapped since either Feb or March....too long.

Know what you mean by this Monica, There are many things I am this way on. We will get there, I promise. Especially with all this support. :grouphug:

Yeah... and like how big is this guy???

The article I found said that he thinks he would have to stay out too because he is over weight.

Yup... we order one thing from room service at each room and by the end, we have a buffet... with drinks picked up along the way... :)

We're in!

When I first mentioned to John that we were meeting folk from this cruise last December he went silent!! I just knew it was hard for him!! he was not keen at all. However, he thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone we met, and now he is up for any meets!! Oh, and I must mention one of the people we met was Monica, so be assured she is just so lovely!!

Me too, me too!!!:lovestruc

It took Doug awhile on the 11 night but now he is as into it as I am. I am still trying to get him to get his own sign in though. Not quite there yet. :lmao: :lmao:

Count me in on the souffles.

Carol

Wow it must be really beautiful. He captures the Disney spirit so well. I am one of those sappy people who cry at Disneyland even though I have been there hundreds and I do mean hundreds of times. In my childhood I had three things I can look back on with a smile, grandpa, grandma, and Disneyland. (no I was not raised by them I just preferred them) Disneyland is the only one of the three still around for me so I visit often and I smile, laugh and cry everytime I am there. The fireworks is a big tear jerker along with the white christmas they do in the winter! :cloud9:

The fireworks get me going too! I don't know why, I've seen them a million times! Last time I cried as we came into Long Beach knowing that they were kicking us off the ship after being on for two weeks. If I didn't have to come back to work, I would have "squatted" and refused to get off. Hm...wonder if it works on a ship like it does in a hotel.....

There are no CM discounts at this time yet either. My DH is a CM and we are traveling as regular full-paying folks too.

Me too....I didn't want to lose the opportunity to be on the ship.

Right, we need a Palo chocolate souffle club LIST!!!!!!!

We can all go along and order one to go!!:lmao:

They're going to know somethings up with all these people asking for souffles :lmao: Sounds like an amazing midnight snack!

Vent away Linda....that's 1 of the many things we're here for

Cookies and milk are a GREAT thing to order from room service. :thumbsup2

OK I will pack a bunch of memory cards and bring my laptop too. Lots of pictures! I swear if you look at everything I have at home you would think my kids run off on vacation by themselves. :lmao: I am nowhere in sight in "our" pictures.

Last year on the Med. thread, someone mentioned about a portable storage device. I didn't want to take my laptop across the world, so I checked into it and bought it for $99. IT IS AWESOME. It is an I/O Magic Storage transfer device. It must weigh 2 pounds (if that). And it is about 7 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches high. Anyway, I didn't take my laptop and every day I just downloaded my cards right in our stateroom. We took over 4,000 pictures. Then when we got home, I just hooked it up to my computer and downloaded them all. It was great.

Here's the website if anyone wants to check it out:

Definately!! Love this group!

I'm always close to tears when I need to get off the ship, too :sad1:

Thanks Linda - I will DEFINATELY have to go check this out! Sounds like a way better solution than taking a laptop

Further to my last, reference DH. The other night I tentatively showed him the stuff on Cafe Press, thinking he'd just shake his head and walk away.

But he was intrigued, especially when I showed him the baseball caps (he sort of collects them - well, in as much as he has far more than he has heads). Then he said he quite liked the green t-shirt.

We're getting to him people, slowly but surely! He will be assimilated.

Does anyone know of any current Cafe Press coupon numbers to be used to get $$ off your purchase?

You could always give him YOUR car to drive, then YOU could get a new one :thumbsup2

well, technically I did that all ready....so he's not going to give this time! When I found out I was pregnant with Samantha, I got an Explorer and handed him my Mustang! He's run it into the ground I am afraid!

As all that chocolate will possibly keep us awake, we should do it on POTC film showing at midnight!!! Or the night before the PC crossing so we will all be awake and bagging our viewing spots!

I'm always close to tears when I need to get off the ship, too :sad1:

I know I am going to bawl my eyes out after this cruise.

Wouldn't it be nice if those of us who don't like brunch but like dinner could switch our brunches with someone who likes brunch but not dinner? More times for all of us...

WIN A TRIP TO DL!

A new Disney Sweepstakes started Feb. 1 (We've already missed 5 chances to enter :scared1: ). You can enter once each day in Feb. The grand prize is a trip for 4 to DL with a stay in the new suite inside the park (like they are doing with Cinderella's castle in WDW already). Here's the link.
https://register.go.com/disney/dreams/sweeps/entry

Wouldn't it be cool if somebody here won...especially if you had room for 1 more in your group. ;)
