I am going to Disneyland on this Sunday and Monday and bought the Maxpass with my ticket. But I'm not exactly sure how it works or how to activate it. I've tried searching the boards but it's hard to sift through all the irrelevant posts so any information, directions or tips would be most appreciated!!

Thank you!

We just came home from our trip and used MaxPass for all 5 days! We loved it. First you need to download the Disneyland App. I'd do this before you leave home. There is a long thread on the topic of MaxPass that you might want to read, I'm not always the best at giving step-by-step directions. I also watched a few YouTube videos, they were very helpful. I bought MaxPass each day once I was scanned into the park. I had linked the tickets together in my group first. I did that by scanning the tickets into my phone, and then naming the tickets, we used our real names to keep it simple. You've then got a fastpass group. From there you go to My Plans in the App and choose get a fastpass. You will then choose which park, DL or DCA. after you choose, you will be shown what rides and times that FP is available. You simply pick one, confirm it, and it's placed in My Plans in the app. When the FP window is open, the FP will appear on your phone with a UPC code. You take that to the ride, place it on their "scanner" and a light will turn green on the scanner, and then you go on the ride. You can then make another FP (or if it's already been 90 minutes from when you got your FP) this may not include every detail, so I apologize in advance.

We used it for 3 out of 4 days and loved it. It's so efficient and didn't need to worry about running to (and finding) the FastPass machines. DH just signed into my account on his phone and we both had access to it. You also get Photopass with it so take advantage whenever you see a photographer. They just scan the code on your phone.

Be sure that you know your Disneyland website password. We were logged out numerous times during the day. Also, we found that whenever we got pictures taken for PhotoPass, they would show up with water marks until we logged out, closed the app, and logged back in.

As mentioned above, Disneyland Daily is a great resource. She has a whole section on her website dedicated to MaxPass, complete with video. You're going to love MaxPass! We used it on our trip in August and it saved us so much time. It's super easy to use, just make sure you have the Disneyland app and you're good to go!
