We are there 17-19th so we will probably not get it. The only thing that changes is that you can get the FP's from your phone right? Its convenient but not a must do for us.

Am I missing something? The link posts to an announcement from Jan and I don't see anything about July 19th.

The link kept overiding to a default I cut and pasted it..actually saw on Facebook first.

It's heeeere.

$75 for AP holders, except Sig Plus is free.

Ugh, will I buy it? Probably.

Our trip isn't until December so I will wait to decide to buy it. Not having to run to get FP's is tempting. It will be interesting on how I can get FP's for both parks. I plan on park hoppers.

We'll be there July 21. Was really hoping it wouldn't start until after our trip

I was hoping this wouldn't start until after our trip in August. I am wondering how it will affect our ability to get a FP for Fantasmic since we didn't sign up for a Fantasmic dining package and aren't planning to get Maxpass. Sigh.

Not interested.......too much money for a group of 5.
How will not getting it affect us?

Curious to see how this will affect those of us who didn't budget it in to our trips and go the traditional way of tickets in the machine! Hope its not a huge difference but I'm sure disney wants it to be a huge difference so more people pay.

I was excited to hear the announcement. Our trip is Aug 2-4th. With a family of 4, I don't want to pay the extra $40/day but I'm going to. You will get your Fast Passes quicker than running across the park to grab your ticket. If you are a park hopper, it even enhances that advantage (I used to run back and forth between parks). PhotoPass is a bonus. Now, my wife can get in the pictures (she is the family photographer).

If you don't get MaxPass, you will be at a disadvantage for ride reservations. Some people don't care (some didn't even use the paper Fast Passes). But, I know you care. Or else you would not be a part of this online community.

Was this by choice? CMs (including PP CMs) will usually always happily take your picture for you using your own camera. I can see if they're already busy with something else that is taking their focus that they might have to decline, but the PP CMs definitely will always grab your picture for you with your own camera so you all can be in the picture.

Yes, that is what we do (ask a CM to take the photo). Sometimes the photo's don't turn out good because my wife has a sophisticated camera (I only use my phone). The photo experience is changing with enhanced photos and ride photos/videos. They can make it look like Tinkerbell is in the palm of your hand. The kids really like it (it's similar to Snapchat and other apps they use).
