Maximum Room Occupancy Question

I was planning on staying at the nick hotel from July 1-8th, and the total was 1589.99 for 2 adults, 3 kids, 8,5,2 WITHOUT any tickets. Last night, i tried to book a moderate resort (Port Orleans Resort - Riverside) plus 7 day tickets w/hopper, NO EXP. for around 2200.00 total. I see that the Maximum Room Occupancy is 4, but, my 2 year old can sleep on a trundle bed. Is this OK, or, will they give me problems for having 5 total people ? We dont plan on staying in the room that much so, space wont matter to us. Im just not sure how they will handle this! Thanks for any help!

Children under 3 are not considered for the room count, so you should be fine--technically to Disney, you have 4 people and a baby.

There are rooms that hold 5 at POR, but I hear it doesn't show up on the website. I would call CRO. There will be a pack and play crib in the room that you can use as well.

you are fine. There is no need to worry as the rooms are designed to sleep 4+.

Ive love this site, its been helping me save so much Money for our trip! Now, do you think i should request a trundle bed now, or, should i wait until arrival and ask for one? Also, what is the check in time? We should be arriving late, maybe 7 or 8 pm? Will this be a problem? Thanks for your help!

No, I would call in today and tell them that you need the trundle bed. If you don't they may not have any rooms left that has the trundle bed. Especially, if you are checking in late. Check in time is 3:00 p.m.

Also, how much is it to self park? I notice that you can check a box to request a trundle bed. Is that telling them that a 5 person room is needed? Do they charge extra for a trundle bed room? Sorry for all these ?'s, this is our first time and i have no idea what im doing!
Also, i really want the 10 day passes with no exp, and hopper, but, i notice with the package deal from WDW's site, that you can only get the 7. Im thinking that its a better deal (for the future) to do the tickets seperately for 10 days with no exp. date/hopper rather than 7 for about 250.00 more? Should i purchase them from the WDW site (if i decide on the 10 day ticket) or, somewhere else?

Parking is free at the resort and the parks. There is no valet parking at moderate resorts.

Trundle is no extra charge, a recent change -- used to be $15.

Not sure about your ticket question except the packages are rarely good deals.

you can upgrade at the resort when you get there if you buy the 7 day ticket, but cannot downgrade

I joined AAA and make reservations for a Trundle room for 129.00, better than 149.00 i guess! Does anyone know if i need to bring a mirror and hairdryer with me? Thanks

There is a hairdryer built in by the sink so no need to being an additional one unless you plan on dueling. As for the mirror...what size are we talking? There are two over the double sinks but full-length is not supplied, you may want to slip one into your suitcase just in case

Thats sounds like enough Mirrors for me! Are you suppose to request a fridge or do they provide them now in all rooms? Also, i forgot to even ask, but, we Want a NON Smoking room. Did i have to request this?? Thanks!

I found out the fridge question, i think, They do have them. I just need to know about the smoking part. Does anyone know of any nice scenery Views (OTHER THAN WATER VIEW) of POR that have Trundle beds and Non Smoking?? Maybe ill call them
