Maximum Height Requirement

I have not been to WDW in a very loooong time. However, I do go to the local Six Flags. They have rides that I am too tall for and my DD usually won't go on them by herself (even if she has already been on them). So I was wondering if WDW had rides with a maximum height limit?

How tall are you? I've seen posts made about NFL players well over 6 feet tall, riding nearly all rides at Disney with no problems.

The only attraction in Orlando that I'm aware has a maximum height is Pterandon Flyers at Islands of Adventure - maximum is 54" unless accompanied by a child who falls within the height range, and this is due solely to the ride being such a slow-loader.

I think that was the whole concept behind Disneyland in the first place... Walt wanted a place where adults could enjoy in the fun with their children. There's a blurb in the WDW explorer about his being disapointed when taking his girls to the park that he had to sit on a bench and watch them.

As far as I know, the only height restriction was in the kiddie park area of Toontown (which I'm not sure is still there) that had under 39 inches only I think. They only wanted toddlers in it, but it was a tiny fenced area. Everything else is meant for EVERYONE to enjoy the magic

You can ride and enjoy every attraction with your child at Disney World. No maximum height restrictions at all.

Thanks to everyone. I am only 5'2". I am very glad that my DH and I can enjoy everything with our DD. This is our first family vacation and we wanted to spend every moment with her.

Okay an honest answer, my DH is 6'3" and he has trouble squeezing his legs into Space Mountain. His shoulders are also broad and there were a couple of rides in Fantasyland that was harder to sit shoulder to shoulder with me, but he managed both okay. Have fun!!
