maximum capacity is???

The numbers that I hear floating around are:

MK - 65,000 [But they will let in up to 78,000?]
DHS - 55,000
Epcot - 90,000+ [This park can hold a TON of people. Which is why when other parks cap out, they are encouraged to go to Epcot.]

No idea what DAK is.

Disney has never released the actual numbers. The speculation I have read here on the Dis and other Disney boards is 100,000 capacity for MK (I believe they shut the parking lots down at 75,000), DHS and AK is said to be somewhere around 40 - 50,000 and I don't know if I've ever seen a speculative number for Epcot, but I do know it doesn't normally shut down due to capacity crowds.

Too bad they do not post attendance numbers because today because 3 of the 4 Disney World parks and Disneyland hit their max and turned people away. One family complain because they spent $300 and got to ride only 3 rides, the ride queues were 2-3 hour wait.

Yesterday MK, AK and DHS were all closed at some point due to capacity crowds. Really, there is so much internet information now about planning for WDW, and any WDW planning site is going to have a plethora of info about how busy Christmas/New Year's week is. Every site tells you that the parks can/will reach capacity levels during that week and that the lines will be incredibly long. The only way you can really get anything accomplished is to get to the parks before opening, hit the headliners first thing, get Fastpasses everytime your FP window opens and remember that Fastpasses don't expire until the end of the park day. Using that strategy and you won't be standing in 2-3 hours long lines.

90,000 to 100,000 does not seem that bad if you compare it to a college football game selling out every they have a home game at 84,000 ++seats in stadium. If your at the game you pay about the same as a one day pass at Disney and you are lucky to get to set down to watch the game as everyone in front of you will be standing when the game get exciting (excitment last about the whole game).

Difference is the 84,000 stay in there one spot for about 3 hours not moving much at all. At a theme park 100,000 always on the move trying to get to the spot someone already occupys.
