Maximizing Photopass with multiple day trips?

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I see a ton of photopass posts so here goes...I've searched all over to try to figure it out but have gotten even more confused. Anyway, we are currently stationed in Jacksonville, FL for the next few months (we leave in Nov for California) and we just purchased the military salute tickets for 2013, with the intent of using all 4 park days and 4 waterpark/fun days before they expire on Sept 28th. Since we are only 2.5 hrs away, and my husband's schedule is very unpredictable, we are taking random trips down to WDW...we did TL on Sunday and will most likely be going to MK this weekend, and camping at FW. Anyway, here's my photopass dilemma - previously I had prepurchased the cds. This time I did not, because we are taking random trips over a month and a half period.
1. a) If I prepurchase a cd now, would my TL photos from Monday be on there, I have not entered the code yet - does it go by the date you enter in your Photopass code or the date it was actually taken?
2. How much time do I have to collect all the pictures? We will go this weekend, and possibly again in a week or 2, depending on his schedule...if we have a week where DH doesn't have to fly on Friday, then we go to Disney, but it's almost impossible to figure that out until that week.
3. Any other hints for helping to maximize disney photopass when you are just taken random day trips over a period of 45 days or so?

Thanks so much! I"m excited to live so close to WDW, and then when we move we'll be 2 hours from DL and I've never been there so that will be awesome.

1. No. Photos taken before the prepurchase date are not included.

2. You have 30 days to claim your photos, so you will need to enter the card number of your first eligible photos within 30 days. Once you enter that card number, you will have a new 30 days to edit the photos and order the CD.

3. No other tip besides entering the first card number at the last possible day. I would do it at 29 days just to be safe. You can purchase an extension if you need more time to edit the last set of photos.

Not sure if you considered getting the plus card, but it will expire after 14 days, so I would just do the regular Photopass preorder.

Ok good thank you so much. Yeah I thought I had the photopass thing figured out but the last time we used it was 2011 and for some reason everything seems more complicated now - they got photoplus, fast pass plus, magic bands and all sorts of new things now!
Bummer my photos from Sunday won't be on the prepurchase...but that's ok. I was kinda hoping that if I didn't type in the photopass card #, then prepurchase it, it would be on there when I'd enter the card #s, but I should have known Disney was smarter than that! Oh well! Thanks so much that does help a lot!
