Max pass and disabled guest

last time I was at the parks, in order to use the disabled entrance or exit as entrance, they would scan our tickets and issue a return time, almost like a fast pass. With max pass has this changed? Anyone know? Just trying to figure out if I need to purchase max pass. Due to a torn meniscus I will be on an electric scooter and will have my cane for short walks. Thanks.

No, there has been no change to the way they issue a return time. In DL, you can hold both a fast pass and a return time.
