Max for Palos Rsvns?

Is there a limit to the number of times you can eat at Palos? I would like to do one dinner, one brunch and one high tea. This might be too much but I do love good Italian food and rarely get it where I live...unless you consider 'pizza' and 'macaroni and cheese' good Italian food.

Also, please tell me if I can reserve as a single or do I have to share a table. I'm going on the cruise with my 7 yr old ds who is not allowed in Palos and would like a table to myself.

I can't speak for the single table, although I did see someone sitting alone at a table for four, so it must be able to be done.

I can speak for the number of times you can go to Palos because we did all 3 of those on the 1/19 sailing.

Thanks for your input...do you recommend doing all three, and also was there one that you prefered over the others in case I have to make a choice. Is 'High Tea" similiar to an English High Tea with scones and clotted cream or is it mostly Italian desserts? Both are fine with me.

Dinner and Brunch were great. You almost have to pick up your spoon and swat them because they want to bring more and more of it.

As for High Tea, I went because my DW wanted to attend, so I won't tell you my opinion. I just don't drink tea that often.

My DW was very pleased with it and we spent a nice 60 or 75 minutes there.

It was very good, they started with 4 different finger sandwiches. They also had scones and they had jams and preserves that had just been made by the chefs. They also served a dessert that was very good.

The tea was loose leaf and they had at least 10 varieties.

If you enjoy High Teas, you'll definitely like it on the Magic.

Answering your question, I'd say yes, try to do all three.

tea, brunch and dinner at Palo are all considered different events so you can most certainly do all 3. Keep in mind that tea is the hardest to get into because they have very very limited numbers of slots for this one. I personally absolutely detest tea the beverage but I love tea the event so I always go to teas, try the least offensive sounding tea and discover it tastes like wet leaves and ignore it the rest of the time I am there. Most teas also offer coffee as a beverage so I am thinking I may just order a cappuccino instead of the tea next time to have with my scones etc.

To answer your question about what is served at tea, we had tea sandwiches, a scone (with apricot and strawberry jam and devonshire cream), a chocolate eclair (absolutely to die for) and triffle along with an assortment of teas. I really really enjoyed it except for the peppermint smelling (but not tasting) wet leaf concoction. My husband really enjoyed his lemon verbana tea though!
