No plans just yet but Madison did tell the Wish Granters she wanted to play with the dolphins so I'm sure we'll do that. I want to do a formal dinner but I'm not sure Mike will go for it. I would make him wear his dress blues and he protest wearing them at all cost!

Only time for a Quick note ( I am cooking dinner). I LOVE your pics!!! Too cute! I will be back. :goodvibes

Great PTR thanks for sharing!! So excited you will be on the cruise with us~~ DDJessica will be thrilled to have so many girls to play with~~Our "neighbor" from the meet has a 6 yr that will be nearby (never met them) so hopefully you guys will be close by too~~ Excited you are doing the FE's also, its going to be so much fun, Jessica STILL talks about our cruise from last year on the Wonder~~ SO MUCH fun for the kids!!!

I actually have a few minutes so I thought I'd tell you all a little bit about us! I am originally from SC and miss the South and East tremendously! I have my degree in dental hygiene but no longer work due to my husband being gone a lot. My husband, Mike, is in the United States Marine Corps. He's been in for almost 15 years now. We've been married for 10 years this September (got married right after 9/11 due to not knowing if he'd be home for our actual wedding, lol). We lived in VA when Madison was born and can't wait to go back. Mikayla was born in California, where we have lived for the past almost 7 years.

Madison and Mikayla are our only children. With Madison's heart issue, it's too risky for us to have any more but that is fine with me. We have animals to keep us entertained, a min pin named Emy, an English bulldog named Opha (after the 1st female Marine) and 2 guinea pigs, Hannah and Mia.

So that's us, the T fam in a nutshell. Here's our most recent family pic, taken about a year ago, enjoy!

LOVE the photo! Did I ever ask you if ya'll were stationed at Camp Lejeune? (I deleted all of my PM's because the box was crammed full...more people PM me than write on our PTR). :lmao: That is so funny about the wedding date...If we had kept our original wedding date, Pete would have been deployed to the Gulf for Desert Storm...Thank you for sharing more of your family with us.

Mike was at New River when we met but we've never been to Lejeune (and never will be due to Madison's heart condition). I lived in Wilmington when we were dating and am wanting to go back one day! Hopefully we'll be heading East when we leave here (I think 9 years in CA will be enough!)

Woo Hoo dates......:cheer2:
You have a beautiful family. Can't wait to read more.

New River is close...I had some patients that lived there. I love Wilmington, we had some great times there. I actually think we would have moved near Wilmington when Pete got out of the Corps if it hadn't been for the War and Pete being deployed...I came back to my hometown instead when Christian was four months old...they had just told us at that point in time that NO ONE would be allowed to leave on their separation date, Thankfully they brought him back home April 15 and he was discharged as planned June 30. We stayed for months at the hospitality house, traveling back and forth to our apartment near my parents on the weekends. It was expensive having to pay for two places, and I had to take a leave of absence from my job; however, we weren't about to stay apart again! It is great you can stay near good docs for Madison's heart! There is NO WAY I would trust the docs in J-ville for that! :faint: JMHO having worked at Onslow County in their adult telemetry unit. I do love the Atlantic Ocean! Hope your day is WONDERFUL!

We got an odd call yesterday from our Wish Granter. She called to see if we could attend "something" at UCSD (college down in San Diego) on April 2nd. She said it wasn't set in stone yet but if it did happen, it was important that Madison be there. She wouldn't tell me anything else! I'm all sorts of confused!!!

A dream on the Dream? How exciting! August will be here before you know it.

We are heading to San Diego for vacation in a few weeks. Any recommendations? We will definitely be doing Legoland and the Safari Park.

How long will you be in town? I recommend Coronado if you have a chance. It's beautiful and I love the beach there. Also, La Jolla is where the seals are, the Children's Pool to be exact (it smells pretty funky but it's neat to be so close to them). Old Town and Seaport Village are nice too. Lots of yummy places to eat! Have fun here, the weather should be perfect!

Thanks for sharing your adorable family. I am excited for yall. I can't wait to hear what they want yall to do must be something important.

We are renting a condo in LaJolla Shores for a week, so excited to be near a beach and a nice playground. Thanks for the advice.
