What a morning! Madison had her pacemaker check this morning down in San Diego. I try to schedule the first appt. of the day to miss traffic (about an hours drive without) so we have to get up at zero dark thirty to get down there in time. Everything looks good and her echo showed her pacemaker is doing what it's supposed to and her heart chambers are doing what they are supposed to. So this means we're only facing outpatient surgery in early Summer to replace the batter part, thank the Lord!!!! We were there for about 3.5 hours getting her x-rayed, echoed, checked, etc. Dr. Perry said they'll do her replacement early enough so she will be 100% for her cruise!

Camp Pendleton had another big homecoming yesterday! 3/5's H&S Company arrived home and had quite the escort from the Patriot Guard Riders!!! Welcome home guys!

The surgeon's office just called and we have Madison's "generator" replacement scheduled for either June 28th or June 29th (depending on if she has to stay the night). Please pray that this is just an outpatient surgery, thanks!

Madison is officially scheduled for OUTPATIENT cheer2 surgery June 28th. She'll be ready for art camp in the middle of July and 100% ready for her wish in August! Of course I'll be a nervous wreck until then but we have a lot to look forward to after!

Make-A-Wish hosted an egg hunt for the Wish Kids and their families today at the botanical gardens. It was complete with real bunny and lots of goodies for the children!

With the much appreciated help of a CM, I am happy to announce we are all checked in and have our excursions booked for our cruise! We are doing the dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon in Nassau and the stingray excursion in Castaway Cay! We're SO excited!!
