We have been looking for the last few months for a new mattress, DH and I just finally decided on one.
We've had our current mattress for 9 years and it's getting to the point where we've been adding egg foam, and mattress toppers, etc, and can start to really feel the springs in it.
We felt so corny, but we went to a mattress store and laid on almost every single bed.
We are going with memory foam. We compared all the memory foam mattresses ( 4 diff brands, over 15 beds) and we are going with the Serta iComfort series.
Serta is the only brand that includes the cooling gel top layer in every mattress included in the price.
What we likes a lot about it, was the Serta sets nation wide standard prices. So what you pay for it at one store, another store will have it for the exact same price. And believe me, we have looked for a "better" price within 100 miles, they are exactly the same to the penny.
Here's where we had an advantage on the "price" I found that Sams club sell the exact same mattress for the exact same price. Except they include delivery/installation and mattress removal in thier price. PLUS Sams has their own club promo where we get a $300 gift card to be used on future purchases.
