Matterhorn?

I know that the matterhorn ride has been closed for several months for refurbishment, does anyone know when it will reopen and what will be different about it? We will be going 4/13-17th and hope it is open by then! thanks ...Marilyn

The Matterhorn reopened Feburary 14th. Rumor's say that it will close again for more refurb but I would imagine that that wouldn't be until after Spring Break if not until the fall.

The Matterhorn is now open! Or at least that is what I have read on other boards.. I heard that it looks basically the same except the clearances are not as close.. some people complained that it feels too open and not nearly as fingernail biting of an experience.. heck I'm just glad it will be open !

We rode the Matterhorn last week, depending on where you sit front or back in the sled the back car would seem to whip you around more. The lines were about a 15 minute waite a cast member said the left side of the line moved faster. We also rode the ride at night for a different experience, the ride is what it is but a classic.

What about Harry? Does he have more lifelike movements? Is Harry still the same? Is Matterhorn slower or the same speed?

I love Matterhorn and I can't wait to ride it again.
