Matterhorn refurb

So my wife and I are heading to Disneyland for 2 days April 27 and 28. Haven't been there since 2010 and it looks like the Matterhorn (my all time favorite ride) will be shut down for a refurb starting April 17. This is obviously really bad news. Anybody have any inside info or think there is any chance this is a quick refurb and that it might be back open by 4/28? Fingers crossed...

Unfortunately for your trip, it’s still being shown as under refurbishment through May 12th (as far out as calendar goes today).

This time of year seems to be the few months that its always down for and the majority of us hope its the down time to make the ride more comfortable but then it come out of refurbishment and it is the exact same bump and painful ride.

So true. Last time I rode I ended up with bruises on the side of my leg. I'm fairly petite and get thrown around like a ragdoll, no matter how hard I try to brace myself

Unfortunately for your trip, it’s still being shown as under refurbishment through May 12th (as far out as calendar goes today).

Oh, that's too bad. It's my daughter's favorite and we'll be there the first week of May.

I've been watching Matterhorn refurb calendar closely for the same reason....t's looking like it disappears from the refurb calendar on May 11th actually-- AND so does Tarzan's Treehouse!! Does that mean the new Treehouse opens then? Sadly our last day there is May 9th, so if both open on May 11th we'll miss them unless there's soft openings...

Looks like the calendar has been updated and Matterhorn is still closed until at least April May 13.

When I look at both the app and website, I see it on the closure list through May 14, which is as far out as the calendar goes right now.

You're right. Sorry, I meant May not April.


I saw a twitter April Fools joke that said they a were re-theming Matterhorn to a Frozen attraction. Haha!
