Matterhorn is closed during our trip in April! :(

This is a ride I remember loving from when I was younger and I was looking forward to going on it with DH and DS for their first trip during spring break - but I see that it is closed for refurbishment until June

Yes, we will be there over Spring break and it has been a few years since we were at DL - it was a family favorite - DS(6) is a daredevil, DH loves spins but ot drops, DS(10) has ASD and does not do thrill rides and then i do it all Plenty other things to do but still very disappointed that we will be missing a DL classic!

I'm right there with you...1st trip for us and it was the 1 ride besides Alice that I was looking forward too.

I guess that mean we have to plan another trip!

My kids love Matterhorn but to me its always been way too rough and bone jarring. They have completely rebuilt the track twice in the last 20 years and yet its just as rough as ever. Am sure hoping this refurbishment improves that!!

I was at DL last July and Matterhorn was closed. Now I'm going in March and it will be closed. I guess I'm cursed!
