I am sure I speak for all the Princesses this weekend.

I just wanted to thank you all for the support and cheering on Sunday.

Overpass Matt!!!! It picks up my spirits seeing you with your Mickey gloves and Fantasia hat cheering us all along.

Chester...wow how do you move that fast I saw you 3 times how awesome that you got up so early to come in and cheer us all along....Thank you

Ann, when you mentioned at Toy Story on Friday that you might not be on the route cheering us on I was so sad so what a awesome surprise to see you Sunday.....Thank you

To all the WISHers' I saw along the course. Thank you all it is what makes being part of a team so awesome!!!

Ah Kim beat me to it!

I just LOVE our team! On a weekend when we were so low in number you'd think you wouldn't see anyone but oh no not with our Team Supporters! As always you guys ROCK and inspire!

Matt, I have got to find out what you drink in the morning for all that energy! LOVED seeing you at the overpass again!!!! And but of course we can not forget the 5K!!!

Chester!!!! The hair and ears sure picked up our spirits!!! We were able to spot you easily far enough away that we were smiling big as soon as you came into few!!!!

We also had a lovely group of ladies running around the course on Sunday... Laura Suzannews Maura and we had Mel on the 5K that was a TOTAL surprise!!!

And our biggest surprise of all ANNE!!!!!! Thanks to Anne and Bob for coming out. A BIG HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you 2 and many many more years!!!!

We had a great time!!! I hope I didn't forget anyone!!! I'm almost happy to be home so I can get to bed before midnight and have more than a few hours sleep

Your all the best!!!! From those on the side pushing us on and to all those that were alongside keeping each other company!!! Thanks!!!!!

I had alot of fun cheering on Sunday!! Sorry if I scared anyone but I was cheering for everyone, just yelling louder at the Wish and Disneyrunning folks!! I know what it feels like to be the one running and have someone yelling for you and how much it helps so I just wanted to pay if forward. Can't wait till the next race!!

Thanks WISH team for getting out there and cheering. I wasn't wearing WISH but I was wearing the green Mickey head but it was tough to see I am sure. I ran most of the 13.1 with Carrie so those that saw Carrie anywhere from mile 5 to the end I was the one in the pink shirt next to her. I think she called out to Ann - she was very excited to see that you made it. And then there were more WISHers at the bus area at Epcot when we ran past. Even though you didn't know I was a WISHer I still felt your cheers where for me. Maybe one of these days I will make it to a WISH meet. LOL Again thanks everyone for coming out and supporting the team. We appreciate it BIG time.

I also have to give a big thank you to Carrie - I know I did it on other threads but I have to say it again THANK YOU for helping me make it through to the finish line - I managed to do it just 48 seconds more then my first half in November and for that one I trained alot harder. So thanks again Carrie for keeping me on pace.

Ditto what Kim wrote. And as for Chester, I actually saw him on the course 4 different times: somewhere early on (which is where I first realized he was a spectator and not running!), at TTC, at the Poly and then just before the finish line! Thanks so much for that!
We all know that Matt is just amazing.....to be able to complete a race and then double back to cheer on the slower folks is just such a special thing to do. I didn't do the half in January, so this was my first Matt-on-the-overpass experience. Thanks for that!
I was so happy to see Anne and her hubby! I had heard she was on property and might show up, but nothing was definite. I was so disappointed when I got to TTC and there was no Anne to be found.......it just didn't feel like a Disney race without her at there. I figured she wasn't coming, so when I saw her at GF, it was such a great surprise! Yay, thanks for that!
Thanks also to Jim on the medic bike....even though I don't think I've ever met him.
And a big thanks to Suzanne and Maura for cheering us on during that final mile.....and to the WISH lady at MK whom I never met before. I think she was the only WISHer in the MK and I certainly appreciated her presence there. Thanks for that!

And to all those people (too many to name, but you know who you are) who passed me on the course and knew I had issues but just showered me with tons of encouragement. A huge thanks for that!

Aw shucks, y'all are making me blush. I had a really great time working my way around the course. Unfortunately, I missed seeing a lot of the faster runners because I stayed in position until the sweepers passed. I was able to be just after the start (.25 mile), after the TTC, after the Polynesian (just before mile 8) and after exiting EPCOT (just before mile 13).

I now have a greater appreciation for the people on the "other" side of the cones. At local races I usually work on the race committees instead of running, but I have never been a spectator before. It was really rewarding to to see a runner's spirits pick up and smile just because I was standing there ringing a cowbell. I can't wait for the Princess next year. I just might have to break out my Prince Charming costume.

me again! Now that I'm home from work and the phone isn't ringing and the faxes isn't faxing and my sick co-workers aren't well they just aren't here! LOL

We have 2 more people to Thank!!!! Annette and Amanda!!!! They were at the turn in Epcot. They were on the Mexico side of the path as Pat and I went thru.

And it was Laura (Carrie's friend that was with her at the start before we walked out) that was on Main St and oh goodness there goes my memory again I did see her at the finish area too didn't I??? 1st there was Chester on the left and then YES!!! It was Laura on the left just a few feet up from Chester. Then there was Matt and then there was Syko and family on our right!!!!

Oh my goodness I wonder who else and what else I might remember tomorrow after I actually have a night that i get to bed before midnight

I hope I'm not forgetting anyone again but be sure if I do I'll be back here again

I know I've said it on other threads but wanted to give a huge thanks to all who came to cheer (and to Matt for both running and cheering).

I really appreciated the support even if at times I was too oblivious respond during the race. Team WISH rocks!!!

I ditto what everyone has said. Matt, Anne, Chester, and all the Wishers along the way were awesome, and such a great pick me up!! Knowing Jim was on the bike - should we need, also comforting.

I was showing the pics to my family and kept saying "and there's chester, again" - was just as much fun as seeing him each time on Sunday!

This was my first half and I have to say that all the WISHers made it very special. Thanks to all of you for the encouragement. I have to admit I wasn't sure how much motivation someone yelling out GO WISH would be when I ran by, but it was amazing the extra adrenaline it gave each & every time. Thanks so much from a first-timer.

I know Pat got a photo of Chester by the TTC. At least I know she took the photo not sure how it turned out since we didn't stop to look

I think Tracy has a photo of Matt on the overpass under the 5 Amigos thread?

Maura has a photo of Matt as he came back from the overpass along with photos of Matt RACING by her.

Anne I'm not sure, I think i saw a photo on the 5 Amigos but then again that might be the photo of Tracy and Anne in MGM that I'm thinking of.

Sadly I didn't get a photo of Annette and Amanda our volunteers in Epcot as i was really feeling the lack of sleep and training at that point. But non the less seeing their smiling faces boosted me

Laura was on Main St and probably caught us all off guard since I don't think anyone expected her there LOL But you have got to love those kinds of surprises! Another boost! She was also at the finish area which was kinda lined with WISHers. Chester, Laura, Matt and Syko (the last 2 having finished and came back to cheer).

You know I keep thinking I heard a Go Wish off to the left but didn't see a shirt and I wasn't thinking about the headbands at the point (wasn't thinking much beyond being able to finish LOL). It would have been just before the Finish Line proper.

All in all our Scream Team was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

I missed MAtt .That's ok, though, I got to run with him in January.
