Hi Dining Wizards:

Need help from anyone willing. I got in on the Disney free dining yesterday with a 7-day trip to Pop Century for two adults, two children, 6 & 9 during Oct 1-8th.

I booked with Disney with base passes for: $1474.64.

Then I called AAA and they quoted: 1368.14.

Has anyone had the same experience with kids the same ages, and has anyone gotten any lower deals?

I think I'm as good as I'm going to get with AAA, but I want to make sure. This sure is a fantastical deal and a selling point for my husband who LIKES TO EAT DISNEY MEALS!!! yay

Can you tell I'm excited?!?!

:cool1:

Actually I thought you couldnt combine discounts - a AAA room has a 'discount', so the amount Disney quoted you must be a "rack rate" room...

I'm sure on the Resort page lots of people are posting the rates they got, as well as people figuring out the difference or the "Disney Math"...

Just do your reasearch, with the kids, you do know you can pay out of pocket for their kids meal , and then save that as a credit.... all kinds of tips here for that!!

(another great site for planning meal plan!)

Our kids are 6 & 12, but we booked through AAA and got about $100 off the Disney package deal as well - including the dining plan (but we are paying for our dining plan - still a good deal though)! We leave Tuesday and we can't wait!!! We're also planning on sharing some meals & paying for the 6 year old out of pocket a couple of times so that we can save up credits for HDD Revue on our last night! :flower:

Could the difference be trip insurance? Check to see if it is included or excluded on both quotes. Disney's is usually about $90 for a vacation package in that price range.

A week at Disney including dining (including taxes and tips) for under $1500. You can't beat that. Tell him you saved him enough to get that big screan TV he wants.

Take your AAA savings and run with it.
