DH, twin 2yo DDs and I are going to WDW just after Thanksgiving. Since this is our first family vacation, we thought about getting matching T-shirts that say "Austin Family Vacation" or such. Has anybody done this? Where have you gone to have T-shirts made?

Thanks!!

Yes, we had t-shirts made last year. Kids Surprise Vacation to WDW. We had them made up through DIsney direct. I didn't get any new ones done for this July trip (just forgot and then it was too late) but I'm getting the sweatshirts done for our January trip.

I dress the kids in matching or co-ordinating outfits often when going to WDW.

I have made some personalized ones on the computer. I use Microsoft Home Publishing program, but you can use any art-type program. Then print the image on iron transfer paper(HP works best). Walmart, any office store, etc sells the special paper. *Important tip* - remember when printing your design to print it as a mirror image, so when you iron it on it will appear properly.

I have made tons of funs t-shirts this way. The kids have drawn pictures, I've scanned them and printed them onto the iron transfer paper....making grandma, daddy and even teachers shirts as gifts.

Check out the Disney Store and Disney Direct Online - both are running great sames and you can get some cute matching/co-ordinating shirts to wear on different days.

I usually dress everyone in co-ordinating red/white/blue for our picture at Chef Mickeys for dinner.

We did this about seven years ago. We actually ordered matching plain t-shirts from Hanes (there were nine of us), and then designed our own logo (it said, "Rachel's 5th Birthday!" -- very colorful). We printed the logo, as well as each person's name, onto iron-on transfer paper, available from Epson, and then ironed the design onto each shirt. It was a little bit of work, but we were able to make everything just the way we wanted, and it was relatively inexpensive! The shirts were really good quality -- we still have them today, and they still look great, even after dozens of times through the laundry.

You have to check out the thread on the Theme Board - (people posted thier pictures of matching homemade shirts... )

granted its 10 pages long, I suggest starting at the back (last page) and working your way forward - they posted a link with Disney themes that you can click and design your very own shirts! Different style of Tshirts too!!
