Matching shirts

This will be our first WDW trip and I want all 4 of us to have matching Disney shirts. Does anyone else do this?, or do you think it is silly? My dh says no one would do this, we would look ridiculous. I guess we will just have to look that way. My question is: Where is the cheapest and best place to buy these at or around Disney?

Last year the Disney Store had 4th of July/Americana tyoe shirts for $5. They all had a Flag background 1 Grey w/ pluto, white w/ donald, Blue w/ Mickey & Red w/ Minnie. That is what I bought we did not "match" . But you will see alot of Familes wearing matching shirts.

We are a family of 4 who wear matching Disney shirts for EACH day of our Disney trip...and we always go for 8 or 9 days.

I think matching shirts look so much better in the pictures & we always get lots of comments from the CM & Photopass photographers.

DH will any matching shirts but tie-dye. He doesn't like tie-dye shirts.

We purchased most of our shirts from Disneyshopping.com.

We like the Disney logo shirts. There are some "antenna ball" shirts online right now that are very cute. We bought 3 matching sets of those (lime, turquoise, & navy) in short sleeve & a set of royal blue in long sleeve. Also got the antenna ball logo in matching grey sweatshirts.

We also have matching sets of their logo shirts from last year & the year before.

Disneyshopping.com also has "create your own tees" & we did a matching set of those too.

If you look on the Creative DISigns forum, you'll find directions for the Mickey swirl head shirts. I made each of us 2 of those to wear. They came out great!!

I hope your DH changes his mind. Having matching shirts for each day also made packing for a 9 day trip much easier...I knew exactly what shirts we were bringing.

Tell your DH we also had matching shorts for each day. I bought each of us about 4 pairs of black shorts & 2 blue pairs and we wore those with our shirts.

We will match. I am making us matching shirts. I found some Disney print material at Wal-Mart. I have been buying shirts at the Disney Store all year. Sometimes we will match exactly. Sometimes we will match colors. And sometimes we will match theme.

DH and DS are looking forward to their homemade shirts.

Alot of people do this. check out the creative board they have iron on transfers people make for you.

We are going at the end of September. There are 8 of us and several days of our trip we will be wearing matching t shirts. Not only fun but a good way to keep an eye on the kids

For the Christmas party last year there were the 3 of us and another family of 3. We all wore Christmas-colored mickey head tie dyed shirts dyed in red and green. I bet 50 people stopped us and asked where we got them, even several cast members. We took a Saturday before we left and made them. THey were really cute.

Thanks! I will show my DH this post, so he will know I am not the only one who does this. We are only a couple of weeks from leaving so I won't have time to order from anywhere. I will be buying when we arrive.

We ordered Mickey Mouse Club tees with our names on them for our trip last December. We bought ears and walked around MK as Mouseketeers. My DH loved the show as a child and my DD6 loves the old shows on dvd. We ordered them from Zazzle. It added a little Disney magic to our trip.

We always do matching shirts, but sometimes I do the same shirts, different colors so the men don't gripe!!! Always Disney Shopping and used the customized part of the site. Have fun!

did it on our last trip and boy it was fun here is a pic of us. every where we went cast members wanted to know which one we where.

DW picked up five matching Mickey Mouse t-shirts at a local church flea market last year and we wore them on our last full day in WDW at the MK. We received so many positive comments about them we decided to put them "in storage" and we will be using them again this year. Looking forward to our "Mickey T-Shirt Day" at the MK on 6/27.
