Matching family outfits?

Hey all! So this is kind of a weird question, but I'm looking for matching family outfits! Not just T-shirts, ENTIRE outfits - think dress for mom that is the same print as shirts for dad and kids, etc.

A bit of backstory: my dad has a cute baby pic of him and his 4 older brothers, with my grandparents, at Disneyland soon after opening day. They are all wearing shirts my grandma made and she has a dress of the same material. It was her strategy for keeping track of her wild bunch!

We've got a trip coming up with the whole family in a few months, and my dad loves the idea of paying tribute. Now he's grandpa, and is excited to have the whole family match! I've managed to find a few options of Aloha wear on Amazon and such, but I'd love to get something a little more "Disney" if possible. (Obviously buying fabric and sewing them is a great option but I don't have the skills!) Has anyone seen something like this from vendors on Etsy, or anywhere else? Would love any suggestions you may have!

Sorry no ideas but laughing. My husband would rather bath in hot tar than even consider a matching shirt let alone a whole outfit. Good luck.

That's pretty much how everyone else in the family feels about it, lol. But I'm willing to force them to do it to make dad's dreams come true!

Maybe not in a Disney theme... but might be able to do Disney inspired... Old Navy does a lot of "family matching." I usually do matching t-shirts on my boys and then my husband and I dress in coordinating colors.

When we were in Animal Kingdom a couple of weeks ago I saw a man wearing a shirt that said "I love matching t-shirts". Then below that it read, "said no man ever".

My brother tried that years ago. When we were kids we went to Hershey park and had matching Reese’s tshirts. He thought it would be a cute throwback to do it at Disney. Well, my family HATED the idea and we have a family photo in orange Reese’s shirts and my DH wearing red Ohio state. He refused to participate. I personally love your idea and wish I could help. I would think someone on Etsy or maybe a local seamstress could help you out

Check Etsy! There’s a shop called MagicalBounding that might have what you’re looking for. They do a Haunted Mansion print dress and shirt (kids and adult sizes for both). They might have more options for matching prints, that’s just the first one I noticed.
And RainbowRules, also on Etsy. Looks like they also offer adult and kid dresses and shirts in matching prints. I’ve never ordered from either of them, so I can’t say anything about quality or customer service, but they sound like they might sell the outfits you are looking for!

My family would love to do this! For my youngest DD’s first trip, my wife got all the girls matching dresses and a shirt for me to match. They only had a small Mickey silhouette, but my sister loved the matching so much (she’s the family Disney planner and trend-setter), everyone in the family does at least one “match” day every trip now.

Maybe try Disney bounding instead of overt Disney.

Like at MK everyone wear a red top and black or tan bottoms (Mickey or Pooh colors).
At HS everyone wear black and purple (ToT) or pick a SW or TS color combo.

You can find those things at any Walmart or target store.

Sounds like fun!
