One time I stayed at the Masters Inn in Kissimmee. I had booked two nights there before going to the resort for a bunch of nights in order to save a few bucks.

The first night was a terror. The room was gross...bug infested...and everything was really creepy and weird around the place. At 3:30 AM we finally got up and went to get breakfast at Denny's (just down the street and an awesome breakfast there). We heard about a Ramada that was just a block away from master's Inn. We managed to get the entire amount of the second night at Master's Inn refunded and we switched to the Ramada.

Ramada was much nicer...hwoever if you care to sleep ask for a room not facing the pool. There is Karaoke (and loud karaoke at that) every single night of the week until 11 PM. If you want to opt for Universal over WDW the Ramada has a package deal for that as well as a food deal too.

Now a good thing to say between the Ramada and Master's Inn is a Sizzler. They totally rock and the food is way yummy and well priced.

Just an FYI for folks out there...do not use Master's Inn it is NASTY!!!

So how much was the "Masters Inn"?

We stayed at the Ramada last year and I definitely second getting a room that doesn't face the pool/karaoke. Even though we were there for our anniversary, there were nights that we wanted to go to bed before midnight and that thing was still going.

Also, beware the indoor pool. Smelled very heavily of chlorine and even the bartender advised against it.

Not anywhere great to eat there, although they do have a Pizza Hut express which should be good for a quick bite. We went out for all our meals.

However, it is a cheap place to stay! I think we paid around $40 per night (we were on a budget).

Also, quick to get to the parks.

We stayed at the Masters Inn for one night back in June. I thought the place was decent for the $39 plus tax we paid. Room was clean, pool was too and it was very quiet. We would stay there again to save money before moving onsite. There are a couple of Masters Inn's. Maybe we stayed at a different one?

Here is the one we stayed at. It wasn't the Grand Floridian but it wasn't scary either.

I've stayed at 2 Master's Inn's the one on I-Drive and the one west of Disney Maingate.I prefer location on I-Drive as the area around the one west of Disney's Maingate just seemed a bit seedy. However the one on I-Drive had one serious issue, every morning the dump truck would wake us up a good 1-2 hours before we wanted to,it sounded like it was right in the room it was that loud, definitely ask for a room away from the garbage.Master's Inn's are definitely on the low end of the hotels in the area, breakfast was mediocre at best,as far as cleanliness,I don't think it was that bad.I used to stay at these hotels much more than I do now,if you look around you can get much better hotels for similar prices!
