Master Rv Repair

Jen for President! pixiedust:

She would kick the crap out of BP :scared:..and personally shove their CEO down that hole to plug up the leak!::yes:: I'm quite sure of it! :thumbsup2
(I'd watch out if I were you Larry...)

Is this getting too political?....:rotfl:

I second the nomination :rotfl:

Wow, that could have been the same statement about a past president in a different gulf..

I don't think we are talking about a peddler on the street that will work for food. Five minutes of phone time = $50.00 bucks? Thats better than most lawyers. I would be on the phone for two hours before reaching that appreciation gratitude. Of course my two hours wouldn't be some advice on the phone, it would be a little more physical. I must be in the wrong field. I KNOW I'm in the wrong field. :headache:

Well he could have come out to the rig charged you $100 or whatever his basic service site fee is and do the same he did over the phone. It's not about the time, but the service that was provided and if it solve a problem in this case much quicker than having to wait. IMO it's rare to have a professional give you advice over the phone in the service industry.

Yep and this post might not last and will be my last, but only the solution to mitigating this Gulf disaster is to combine both the US government and BP efforts to accomplish it and not to alienate the only person that has the capability of doing the actual task and that's not the US, but BP and threatening or not working with them is just IMO NOT SMART.

Sure KICK the CRAP out of BP and see how receptive they will be to cooperate .... that will make all things better .... NOT.

Have you even listened to what Adm. Tad Allen or the CEO of Shell has said about what BP is doing or what is needed ... obviously not. :confused3

The purpose of my original thread was to give credit where credit was due. I guess I should have giving cash. :)

No. IMO you did the right thing and I would now put them at the top of my list if needing service and I apologize for bringing in the cash, but your initial post didn't indicate that you might do that and that was why I posted the idea of considering going the extra mile and compensating him with some $$$ which you were under no obligation to do. I think in cases like this shows service providers like Mobile RV Techs how much we really appreciate their business.

You (not you personally, Larry) should read about how Texaco is raping and ruining the rainforests and the Amazon River in Central & South America. It makes the BP debaucle seem as if someone merely dumped a barrel of crude oil in the Gulf of Mexico by comparison.

However, this thread is about Master RV Service coming to the aide of a fellow Fort Fiend. I appreciate the OP taking the time to share with the rest of us his great experience with a businessman who is willing to give a pound of flesh to help someone in need. Master RV Service certainly could have blown the OP off, but he didn't. Kenny's Tee Time Golf is another business who, not only rents carts, but will help someone who is having problems with their own personal carts. It's refreshing to know that there are honest people out there who, while trying to make a living, will also show compassion to people in trouble.

There are still people out there who are happy to help someone in a bind. I have been called to the parts counter many times to help someone on the phone or in person when we can't get them in for service for several weeks. I am sure this makes for good word of mouth advertising since the camp fire is better than a billboard.

Just to piss Larry off I'm calling around to see if I can get my brakes replaced over the phone. :yay:

Todd, I hope you are going to send the repair guy $50 for fixing them over the phone, he might have a very expensive phone bill. Don't forget to hang your green thongs on your cloth line.

Todd......I think that comment alone reduces you to FORT FIEND status. Sorry, but youre now officially one of us, bro!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the welcome Rog but I'm not sure I want to belong to any club that would have me as a member but in this case I'll make an exception. :thumbsup2
