Massages/Spa at the AKL?

Has anyone visited the spa there or had a massage there? I was thinking of adding an in-room surprise massage to our honeymoon trip in May. If anyones done that did you enjoy it? Would you recommend getting a massage there since thats where were staying, or if we decide to do this should we hop over to the GF's spa? Thanks so much!

The wife and I took full advantage of the Zahanati Spa/Fitness Center last Disney trip. I used the gym almost every morning for a quick hour workout. She did the Journey Rejuvination spa treatment which was a full body mask (cost: $100 for about an hour). You're going to love it. It's the ultimate in relaxation. Nothing like getting truly pampered while on vaction!

Thank you so much for the review on both the fitness club and the spa! I seriously am dying to see their fitness center! I'd go crazy without my morning run and seeing as how AKL lacks a trail I'll be needing their treadmills!

Now all that remains is capturing the look on DH's face when he sees a strange person come into our room ready to massage him! LOL I can't wait to see that look!

On a side note I notice that you and your wife post on the disboards a lot. YOur information is always helpful and informative so just wanted to say thank you for helping all of us other disers out so much! We all appreciate it!

You're very welcome. Believe me, I'm a Disney addict from way back and I can't get enough!!! The DISboards are easily the best WDW discussion boards out there. And to be honest, the wife was not a Disney freak like I am when we met. She still isn't so much. We do an incredible amount of traveling and WDW is really my trip so that I'll behave and I'll agree to go other places, ie. Italy, Great Britian, Costa Rica, Chile, China (next summer!) etc. As long as I get my two yearly trips to the World , she gets her yearly trip somewhere else in the world (small "w").
