Would you recommend getting a massage on the spa onboard, or at Castaway? On board sounds like the way to go for the rainforest room after but if the rainforest room is closed on the dream for after treatments the way it is on the UK sailings then I am thinking at castaway

Access to the rainforest room is a separate purchase. You do not get access to the rainforest room after a massage unless you have separately purchased a rainforest room pass (day pass or length of cruise).

And according to the information DCL released today for the upcoming Dream sailings, the Rainforest room is only available for reserved use: $175 for a 1 h 45 minute slot for upto I believe it was 6 guests in your group. So day pass/length of cruise pass are not available for now.

I have done both. I really thought CC would be a nice experience and it was. I enjoyed it of course. However, I am one of those who CC is the only port I care about so I almost felt I was wasting time there. When you look at it, your head is down the whole time anyway so you aren't seeing the island. ;) I would go with on board.

This is a great point but now I am questioning everything again since the cruise is now a double dip and it is 20 dollars cheaper on castaway too lol

That might change my opinion. ;) With 2 days there, why not?
