Well being from Massachusetts, I am proud to call these men by Senators. Yeah they have made their mistakes but so has every politician today. I totally agree with them in refusing her nomination. It is what I would do!!

Thank you. I get very passionate in defending my state and our representatives. Now Romney..I don't defend him lol
I go to school in Indiana and people out here really don't like anything about Massachusetts so I feel I am always defending my state but I am proud to call it home.

Well being from Massachusetts and most likely having been around a lot longer than you, I too have seen these guys and their "antics" and trust me "people who live in glass houses..." certainly applies to these two guys.

Nice to see some signs that the Democrats may actually get a clue about how to be the opposition party instead of the speed bump party. The Republicans certainly were unabashed in their oppositional stances during the 90's and look where it got them.

Just because you are older does not mean you know more than me about the government and politics of my state. I know perfectly well what these men have done and will continue to support them in what they do.
There have been many other politicians who have ****ed up more than these two men.

No he is my governor..I just disagree with many of his policies that he has instilled since being in office. Now I was too young to vote for him and I will admit i was all for him when he was running but as soon as he was in office he made drastic budget cuts in every town in Massachusetts and our school's were the hardest hit. While I respect him as my governor and as a government worker for my state, I do not approve of what he has done during his term.

I follow Massachusett's government very closely because I plan on going to law school to be a lawyer very involved in government.

It certainly doesn't take a brave person to go against the majority when it costs them nothing (they are both from liberal states where this vote won't hurt them and the vote is certainly going to be overwhelmingly in favor of confirmation) and they get some publicity out of it too!
