I see a Rhode Island thread here and thought we need to get one put up for ourselves!! I mean there is no country if you think about it, if not for the proud and brave folks in our Bay State where the country began. I grew up in the shadow of the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown myself and live now in the burbs south of the city in Stoughton!! Poor boy, got educated, and done good ahahaha!!:lmao: So post up and rep our state until we see the whites of their eyes from reading our hopefully many pages of posts lol. :thumbsup2 party: :jumping1: :disrocks: :thumbsup2

I grew up in Salem MA, not far from Leslie's Retreat at the North River, where the British were turned back from marching north, and had to retreat to Boston.
I now live in CA, but all of my family is still in Salem, and Beverly, and Beverly Farms.

I grew up in Fall River, hmmmm no founding fathers historic events there. But there was always Lizzie.

Now live in the Berkshires. Very pretty out here, but I do miss the ocean.

I live in Medford! It's nice, but what can you really say about Medford?:rotfl: I've lived in Medford since I was 3, when I was a baby we lived in Somerville, right off of Davis Sqaure.

Grew up in Wareham, "Gateway to the Cape". I don't go back unless I absolutely have to, typically to visit the parents or in-laws. I lived in Randolph for 3 years and now will be raising a family in Stoughton.

Saugus girl here but boy that was some time ago!!! Been on Cape Cod (Dennis) for many years and feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place!!!

We live on the East Coast of FL now, but my wife is from Seekonk--did I spell that right???????

Hi all!

Born, raised and still live in Everett.

I spent four years of college in Weston. Way too country for me.

Born in Cambridge,
lived in Somerville,
then Brighton, where I work :teacher:
and finally,
Watertown, where the first foreign treaty was signed between the "infant US" and the Mi'kmaq and St John's Tribes.
We also invented frozen pizza. :rotfl:
And the Stanleys made their Steamer here.

Me and my wife both grew up in Malden (one street apart!!!) and we now live in Tewksbury.

RSoxFan - my wife also went to school in Weston.

I went to Worcester Polytech. I made a lot of trips back and forth between Worcester and Weston on Rte 9. Those were the days .... :moped:

I was born and raised in Taunton. Half of my family is still there. The other half live on Cape Cod. I Moved to the North Shore 13 years ago and currently live in West Peabody. I have lived in Salem, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the sea, and Beverly.

Although I'm not there now, I still consider myself a "Massachusetts girl" I spent the first 40 years of my life there, including the last 17 years in Paxton. I got married in Holden and went to college at WPI.

I was born in Salem but grew up in West Peabody right up the street from where Giles Corey was stoned to death in the Salem witch trials. He and his wife are buried near the site of thier old farmhouse.. We also have another notorious dead guy.. the Boston strangler is buried in the cemetary near my house as well!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Both me and my wife grew up in RI but moved to Blackstone about 10 years ago.

She went to WPI and I went to Northeastern so like Mike already posted Rt 9 was hevaily traveled during those years!!
