It appears the union and Disney agreed to some terms of re-opening safety precautions according to Orlando Newspapers. Cast Members AND Guest would be mandatory to wear face masks. If wearing a mask In theme parks is strictly enforced, will you cancel your trip?

Whose cleaning the masks off the coasters?

I can't breathe well sitting wearing one. I'm not walking in Florida humidity wearing one.

The heat stroke and faint calls are going to rise.

No way indoor attractions should be open.

I've got extra popcorn for the craziness.

They don't work like most think. Like a bandaid over a 7 inch deep cut. It be OK? Wait, why you turning white and still bleeding?

First of all, we'd have no issue wearing a mask as protection.

But a point I think should be stressed with the union agreement. Cast members are not just in the parks - they're in the stores and hotels and restaurants. Seems like the requirements for guests wearing masks will be anywhere there's the potential for human interaction. It's not going to be a case where you wear the mask in the park and then throw it in your bag until tomorrow when you exit. And I can understand why the union would want guests covering their face. I'd be way more concerned about dealing with thousands of strangers every day again, than I'd ever be about wearing a mask for most of the day.

Fortunately, I think most people will be conscientious. With all the debate about wearing them or not, most people who won't wear them will stay home until they don't have to. It's the people who go trying to make a point that they know better, and test the waters by not wearing them, that concern me.

No, whatever it takes to open things up. I'm actually looking forward to what I hope is limited crowds due to restrictions. But we will see how long that lasts. I've seen a ton of memes floating around about the effectiveness of facts. But no actual scientific studies. It really depends on what effect they have on limiting the spread of the 'rona.

I would, but I'd have to make it a winter trip and hope there isn't a freaky spike in temperatures. I find it's very hot with the mask on. I was there Feb 8-15 this year though, and expected the temperature to be low, but it was in the mid to high eighties every day. Best plans, you know.

I can't breath well in them personally. I would not willingly face the Florida heat in one. If they are not required in the resorts, I could deal with that - after all I wouldn't mind a resort only stay. I may still go and do a treehouse or AKL and just hang in my room a lot.

The question I have is kids. . HOW does any parent plan to keep a mask on a young child? Seriously? That goes double for children on the spectrum. When my son was younger (he's on the spectrum), there is NO WAY I could have kept a mask on him. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE.

Have an end of July trip planned- will most likely cancel as I can't fathom wearing masks in the July heat. Have November tripped planned- will go and wear masks

We have a trip schedule for Labor day weekend, but will wear a mask if we go. We will take more breaks in our resort room and not be in the parks all day as we usually do. The Sept rain in the afternoons will help!

This is exactly why we canceled. Bad enough to have to wear them here at home, who wants to go to "The Happiest Place on Earth" and have it in your face all the time about the virus. The heat will be a deal breaker for many. I hope they are prepared for all the people getting sick and passing out from the heat. I would love the limited crowds, but if I am going to spend that much $$ and only have a partial experience, we are gonna pass. We had too many character dining ressies and nice sit down dinners planned. Looking forward to next time. We will hit the beach this year and relax and enjoy.

Kids is a big question mark. I hope they are excluded from masks eventually or sooner than adults. I've seen several reports that are showing children don't contribute much to spreading the 'rona. I know back in March everyone was in a panic thinking they could be spread it easily, because kids are generally filthy. I'm still skeptical on any report I read until additional corroborating evidence comes out. However if that does prove to be true I think kids won't need to wear masks while adults do for a while.

i wear regular masks when at work with pt's. i'm inside so no big deal. i wear a buff though when i'm out and about cause i wear then fishing all winter and summer. even in the heat of summer on the water i don't mind them. in disney i can easily wear one but i deff know i will need a ton of them cause of how wet they are going to get. lol

i really don't know what to think. i go back and forth everyday. . . some days i'm scared. other days i don't care. some days people say why does disney get a free pass from you but you won't go anywhere else. i really don't know. i guess it's emotion. maybe its the one place that makes me forget about everything when down there with my kids and wife. i always say to my wife when there. . . that there could be a nuclear war going on and i wouldn't realize when in disney. i know a reach but you all know what i mean on here.
