Masks weren't eligible for AP discount (even just the standard one) anywhere I bought them in August. Wonder if that's a different discount or if that changed. But I honestly thought they were under-priced, I'd gladly still pay this price.

It changed. At first not discounted. Then discounted. Today I got 20% off with AP.

That is really quite the price jump!
I wish they had some deals, like 2 for $16, 4 for $30 or something. Oh well! I bought a bunch on shopdisney, but I was hoping to get a few more that weren't available online.

On shop Disney they have some masks for 2 for $11.99 and 4 for $19.99. Not sure if they are the same as the $9.99 masks.

I actually don’t like the new material. Doesn’t pass the candle test and it’s quite see through. But you can definitely feel your breath if you hold your hand up to the outside and blow. The older material was thicker and more protective.

I was in DTD at Disneyland today to get masks for our upcoming WDW trip (1 week to go!!) and they are still $6 here.

I do like the new material!

The old ones were so tight on my ears I had to constantly stretch them before wearing, now the new ones are huge! I had to sew tabs to tighten the ear loops

I much prefer the old ones. They are much more substantial so they provide more protection. I also have a smaller head so the original sizes fit me better. I had to go a size down in the new masks. I opened up the new masks to add my own filter between the two layers which makes me feel better about how much protection they provide.

Heck.. they are stopping MBs, they should give us something even if it's a cheaply made mask
