mashed potato issues...???

hey guys, another weird question from your resident picky eater! I'm wondering if anyone can tell me specifics about the mashed potatoes at the different restaurants? I know most of the places make them from a box, but as for the places who have real ones, does anyone remember if anywhere serves them with bits of the potato skin still in there? (particularly WCC) This one of my biggest pet peeves in life....lol

Try them at the Wolfgang Express or Cafe...had flecks of potato skin in them and they were great!

If the peels are a pet peeve, I'm assuming that you don't want them in your mashed potatoes. We liked the mashed potatoes at Yachtsman Steakhouse, as well as at Narcoossee's. No peels in either place.

Actually, I found most places did NOT use instant mashed - even at the food courts.

I love mashed potatoes but I admit I do like the skins mashed in.

I've had them both ways. Best thing to do if you're at a sit down restaurant is to ask your server. Disney makes some great mashed potatoes - yum yum!!

DW is a mashed potato maven and says the LeCellier and Yachtsman are two of the best.

I used to dislike the peel in mashed potatoes until I tried them at WDW. They are so good I just disregarded the peels and I don't mind it at all. Just try it, it will be worth it!

Even Chef Mickey's (gourmet establishment that it is) has delicious mashed potatoes! No flecks!

This is funny because I am a mashed pototo lover. I was soo disappointed in Disney mashed potatoes I thought they were wayyyy too salty and every place I ordered them, had the same ones. Yes, with flecks of skin in them. From CS to TS had the same damned pototoes

I whined to the hubby every time But I did get cheese potatoes at Boatwrights and they were awesome Like a scalloped pototo.
